  1. I have a Google pixel and I sometimes plug in a hub with a kb/m and a USB drive and it works just fine, I don't see why the s8 would have any problems.
  2. So it turns out it had nothing to do with my hardware. In the background the entire time steam was updating games and I watched it and I would get a "disk write error" and then my PC would run into all sorts of problems. It is weird though becasue steam is the only program that does this. My hard drive is pretty new and I know for a fact that it is steam causing the errors.
  3. I haven't had audio playing while it happened but after I turned off my XMP it has been fine so far.
  4. Anyone know what this is? I had to zoom in for privacy but basically after about 10 mins of my computer being on certain some of my windows, but not all of them, get covered in this grid pattern. The first time it was chrome, then discord. I have tried resetting my CPU and GPU overclocked and even undervolting them but it keeps coming back. Once I move my mouse around the window the grid's go away but then my computer becomes unresponsive and I have to hard reset it.
  5. Restart your computer and run a malware/virus scan and see if it continues. Sometimes when I keep my computer in standby for a few days without restarting if starts to get slow. It is good to restart your computer at least twice a week for updates to take effect and just to keep everything "fresh".
  6. Are your graphic and windows drivers up to date? Have you completely deleted old drivers?

I know most people will disagree but if you pair Astro A40s with a good $30-50 sound card they sound amazing. I have owned both Audio Technica and Sennheiser and I ended up going back to my console headset just because they sound so damn good, I can wear them for 8+ hours without getting sore, and their customer support is amazing (I'll tell the story if you want). I know they are mostly linked with CoD nerds but I can not recommend them enough.
  8. The SLI bridge would probably cost more than the extra card itself.
  9. Alright, thanks for the reply. I will probably just end up mounting it in the front of the case or just getting an air cooler.
  10. Getting a $100 head start on a 1080 would help too. I am a believer of saving and getting the best that you can get the first time. If it were me I would wait some more time and get a 6700k and 1080, the better GPU will help a lot more.
  11. Well in the end its up to him/her, its their money. I just can't justify an extra $100 than could have been spent on a better GPU or other part for 5-20 extra FPS, especially if I'm already getting more than the refresh rate of my monitor.
  12. With a Titan X. I will admit, some games will benefit from the extra horsepower, but for most people it would not be worth the extra $100. It really just boils down to what hames he/she plays and how long they plan to go without upgrading.
  13. You are better off with just buying a new card. the 1050s are coming out soon for dirt cheap and the 750ti is still a plenty capable card. A single powerful card is always better than 2 weaker cards.
