  1. You should buy new connectors and crimp the 2 wires together to be sure that the wire is thick enough. If you only solder them you could end up with a wire running hot or having more resistance than it should, which could be bad for the psu.
  2. From my favorite source http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Processors/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-Review-Skylake-First-Enthusiasts https://www.reddit.com/r/hardware/comments/3b3xts/why_did_intel_move_the_voltage_regulators_back/
  3. This has kinda changed with socket 1151, since the voltage regulation is not on the chip, but boards
  4. MSI Z170A Krait Gaming 150$ Get that one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z170akraitgaming
  5. The hardware is great, but I the UEFI is a bitch on the delux series. Don't know on the gaming series, they have alot of issues with the delux, z170-a series uefis. I would remmomend MSI or Gigabyte. I personally prefer MSI Since this gen uses power regulation on the motherboard for overclokcing, I would atleast get Gigabyte Gaming 5 or MSI M5. If you don't like the color, the krait isn't that bad eaither and is going to be more than a good enough overclocking board. BTW the silicon in the cpu has the most to say
  6. Probably cause the pro has better voltage regulation for overclocking, my bet. My bad, the case is reversed, the delux has better. Edit: Voltage regulation, worst to best: Z170-a Pro Gaming - MSI Krait Gigabyte Gaming 3/5 MSI Gaming M7 Delux MSI Titanium
  7. Why do you care about the motherboard display output? You are getting a deddicated Gpu! I would get this motherboard, asus has too many issues with their uefi's. Its a bloody mess MSI Z170 Krait Gaming Other good alternatives: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 (bang for the buck) Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 5 (bang for the buck) Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 MSI Z170A XPower Gaming Titanium Edition (if you want the best) MSI Z170A Gaming M7 MSI Z170A Gaming M5 MSI Z170A Gaming M5 ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K6 If you need wifi: The asus you looke at
  8. Kinda not worth it, as the gpu is getting bottle necked. You will atleast need a 6600k Lol, dont get the old socket
  9. This is a much better case for the money: http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/cases/scout_2/ If psu cover matters: http://phanteks.com/Enthoo-Luxe.html The pro is a bit cheaper then the luxe version.
  10. Lol, it's not good for the money. Its junky. The fan filters is hard to clean! The included fans is okey, but that's all good. The Windows is mediocre as all plexiglass windows, they scratches very easily.
  11. hehe, had that case for 2 months, the thermals was horrible, so it went straight to the scrapyard. The problem is that the fan intakes are not able to get air, and the exhaust is too small. The steel used in that case is too flexible and the feets is glued on.
  12. Dont get the Corsair H110i GT, but H110i GTX. The GTX version is an old revision, with a pump noise issue. Change the PSU CSM 750W to a corsair RMI 750i Would get 2 sticks of 8GB ram instead of 2x4 GB, it is totally worth it.
  13. This is an in depth article benchmarking this, and yes it will bottleneck a GTX 970 periode. http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Systems/Quad-Core-Gaming-Roundup-How-Much-CPU-Do-You-Really-Need Sould you get a new cpu, no cause the bottle neck is small. When should you upgrade: If you get a 980ti (or two), or if you wait and get the next years nvidia grapich cards which is going to be ALOT faster then those on the market now. Or if you do cpu intensive work.
  14. Contact the retailer and ask for firmwarefail, if not return it?
  15. Corsair Carbide Air 240 BitFenix Phenom Micro-ATX Sharkoon CA-M (Sort) Lian Li PC-V358 (Sølv) Lian Li PC-V354 Silverstone Sugo SG02-F Antec P50 Jonsbo V3+
  16. Flat is weaker, get cat 6 and the round cable for easiest wire management. I believe Cat 6 support 10 Gigabit, If you want 10 Gigabit for sure get Cat 7. Be sure to get good connections as poor connections can cripple the speed. The speed goes down by a factor of 10.
  17. Booth is good, well known in Europe http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=1193v
  18. I would look into asrock beebox! The intel N3150 http://ark.intel.com/products/87258/Intel-Celeron-Processor-N3150-2M-Cache-up-to-2_08-GHz
  19. some cheap amd 4 core AMD Athlon 5350 is good enough

  21. BTW, do you have alot of neighbors living close by, maybe their wifi interfere with yours? Try changing the chanel (frequency of your brodcast) or doing a chanel scan to check for interference?
  22. you need to look in the user manual for the router
  23. You should try and delete all know networks on your different devices too. then adding them again
