It's pretty much just for the upgrade path I'd say, you do get 2 more cores though so if you do any kind of heavier tasks it will be better.

Asus Strix E-gaming. Unfortunately this is the one thing that I can't do (not my cpu) and while I been overclocking for a while and if it was mine I would basically do everything up to breaking it to overclock it, building for someone else I am shooting for a 5.0 + overclock, but we shall see. The issue if that coffeelake draws lots of power and tons of heat, so we will roll the silicon lottery I guess.

Okay so it seems as if Coffee lake is th way to go. Does it dramatically help with gaming or is it just to have the room to improve without being bottlenecked and to make it a more effective system for longer?

Building a rig for a pal, everything is ready, except for the 8700k (gets here Monday). Per usual im going to be bench marking and reviewing the hell out it. Does anyone have any specific requests in terms of what they would like to see tested before I hand it all over?-

I've not heard of such a product. As far as I know, M.2 is solely for storage devices.

    70 ish degrees?

I really wouldn't worry, I can see that the core clocks are higher than the standard for that card telling me that GPU boost 2.0 is probably involved.

That's a safe temperature for that card so no need to worry about anything, chances are you're getting more performance out of it than you were before.

With $3000 I'd expect faster memory (although I don't know how well that RAM overclocks if at all.)

Raid 0 combines 2 (or more) drives into one combining the capacity and speed of both. Overall with 2 reliable new(ish ) drives you should be okay with raid 0.

... by overclocking my 2x8gb HyperX Savage DDR3 ram from 1600 to 2200.

Never really thought about overclocking my ram since everything ran fine until I got PUBG. I know this game is still under development and poorly optimized in its current state but the frametimes are much improved with no more stuttering after overclocking my ram to 2200. I would've spent money on upgrading to a newer cpu and mobo but my system will last me another 3-4 years. I do play the game at 3440x1440 and fps is around 70-115ish depending where I am on the map and how many players are visible. CPU is an i7 4770k o/c to 4.5ghz and GPU is a GTX 1080 (2.35ghz gpu/ 6ghz mem).

On that page the best fans for a radiator look to be the SP120s, for radiators static pressure in general is better than air flow.

Looks like a very expensive and useless gadget, but when you will check the sound quality of Harman Kardon systems, you are going to be impressed. It's not just another hyped system like I consider the Beats, for example. Hope this speaker would prove it's quality.

I was impressed by Harman Kardon's quality, I've become a fan of HK when I've had old Toshiba Satellite Laptop with Harman Kardon. Unfortunately, I don't have experience with Cortana for me Alexa is great. Would be great to see Alexa-HK tandem. What would your prefer Alexa or Cortana HK?

upd. but I'm agree with comments below, that it may be just another one expensive Bluetooth speaker, with such limited skills.

My sister had these, used them for gaming, music and videos had no problems with them. Just be careful of the Y connector in the middle of the wire, her's started to fray after a couple of months. Wrapped them in electricians tape and problem solved.

I personally have shure se215s which are awesome but are a lot more expensive but I would recommend if you can afford them.

They just look incredibly fragile, also I wonder why the book style type of phone would ever take off? It just seems like it wouldn't really add any useful function to the device?

So now that you have done so many things you can take it to a repair shop like NCIX to fix it, get a new motherboard or get new RAM sticks. Those are all the things that I know of that can display such a thing.
