  1. Go to octopart.com, There you can find all the re-sellers of electronic components. If you can't see any distributors of the part you want the chances are it isn't avaliable.
  2. Hi Lenny, this machine should crush 1080p and perform well at 1440p. I like the changes you made but please don't get blue RAM. It offends my eyes XD. An upgrade you could consider in the future would be an m.2 SSD which give great performance for booting and loading times etc. As for the 1070ti we don't really know anything yet but chances are it will still be good performance/$
  3. As a fx6300 user I wouldn't recommend upgrading from the 4300 to the 6300. A mate of mine had an identical pc to mine but with a 4300 instead of a 6300. Our fps in games were identical. Also his 4300 overclocked like a tank. As for gpu a 1060 6gb or if you can afford it a 1070 are both good choices.
  4. Background resource using malware on certain coin websites. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-41693556 Any opinions? Could this stop you mining?
  5. It's pretty much just for the upgrade path I'd say, you do get 2 more cores though so if you do any kind of heavier tasks it will be better.
  6. I'd be interested to see how far you could push the overclock, what board is it going to be on?
  7. So you have import fees and duty tax here. I honestly would NOT recommend buying from outside the EU. It's not worth the hassle.
  8. So I don't really know that much about the laptop but what I can tell you is that there is no way to avoid import fees in our country, import fees and tax make buying from overseas usually not worth it and make it more expensive than some other better options you can find.
  9. I'd recommend going for coffee lake instead. Processor: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/LHYWGX/intel-core-i5-8400-28ghz-6-core-processor-bx80684i58400 Mobo: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/mKCrxr/asus-prime-z370-p-atx-lga1151-motherboard-prime-z370-p This will give you the new chipset allowing for potential upgrades in the future.
  10. 70 ish degrees? I really wouldn't worry, I can see that the core clocks are higher than the standard for that card telling me that GPU boost 2.0 is probably involved. That's a safe temperature for that card so no need to worry about anything, chances are you're getting more performance out of it than you were before.
  11. If a 1070 is completely out of your budget then yes, the 6gb 1060 will allow you to play games at decent setting with 1080p resoultion. Welcome to the world of pc building, hope you enjoy your stay
  12. So the main difference between those 2 processors is that the 7600k allows you to overclock whereas the 8400 doesn't, the 8400 is a 6 core cpu instead of the 4 core 7600k which will help you if you plan to do any productivity. I would go for the 8400 simply because it's newer and is on a newer chipset (z370) which offers the upgrade path.
  13. Is there any reason you need the ip68 or anything like that? This phone is literally pointless if you don't. Also mediatek are behind the curve as far a processors go. If not get the moto g5: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Motorola-Moto-16GB-SIM-Free-Smartphone-Lunar-Grey/dp/B01MZCWGYB/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1508692709&sr=8-1&keywords=motorola&th=1
  14. With $3000 I'd expect faster memory (although I don't know how well that RAM overclocks if at all.) Raid 0 combines 2 (or more) drives into one combining the capacity and speed of both. Overall with 2 reliable new(ish ) drives you should be okay with raid 0.
  15. Power Supply is super overkill for that system, also bear in mind that water cooling is also overkill for this chip even after overclocking there are some cheaper air coolers that will give you still great performance. This is a great build, apart from anything else it's newer allowing for a long upgrade path if you want to.
  16. The easiest way to do that is to remove the little circle battery from the motherboard. 1.Power off PC 2.Unplug PC and open case 3.Remove Small Circle Battery on Motherboard (see picture) 4.Hold PC power button (PC still unplugged) 5.Re-install battery 6.Plug PC back in and power on. This will reset your BIOS settings to the factory defaults.
  17. On that page the best fans for a radiator look to be the SP120s, for radiators static pressure in general is better than air flow.
  18. My sister had these, used them for gaming, music and videos had no problems with them. Just be careful of the Y connector in the middle of the wire, her's started to fray after a couple of months. Wrapped them in electricians tape and problem solved. I personally have shure se215s which are awesome but are a lot more expensive but I would recommend if you can afford them. Enjoy
  19. They just look incredibly fragile, also I wonder why the book style type of phone would ever take off? It just seems like it wouldn't really add any useful function to the device?
  20. Sounds like a sata cable or connecter on the hard drive problem to me.
  21. It could still be something wrong with the game files though.
