  1. Added pricing to the main post. I know OLED would be the best choice, but it is three times more expensive(B9 @999€), which I don't think is good value for me right now.
  2. Hello, I am buying my first 4k tv mainly for watching movies, netflix, streams etc. At the moment I have 3 different options: 1) LG 55UM7100 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD LED 350€ My thoughts: LG seems to be a solid choice, but it lacks any kind of local dimming 2) Philips 50PUS6504 50" Smart 4K Ultra HD LED 300€ My thoughts: Customer service said the tv has over 6000 individually controlled dimming zones, which sounds good. On the other hand the tv has 3x the amount of returns according to the stores statistics and is 5 inches smaller. Also Philips isnt quite as established in the tv world(?). 3) Samsung UE55RU7092 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD LED 390€ My thoughts: Samsung should be solid choice too. Its a weird model so customer service couldn't give me exact numbers on dimming zones, but 70xx series info site says "hundreds of dimming zones", which is a lot less than Philips' 6000+ I'm having a hard time making a decision, currently leaning more towards LG / Philips. Looking for some input to make my decision easier Thank you!
  3. Update: Bought and installed above mentioned evo 212 cooler and peak temps during p95 are now ~75c with relatively low fan speeds. Extremely frustrated and disappointed with the aio.
  4. Pushing down on the cooler makes no noticeable difference. Switching the pump setting to 'quiet' causes temperatures to start rising even at idle, which would lead me to believe the aio is working and there is enough contact to have such an immediate effect?
  5. Setting voltage to 1.1V helped a a little. Instead of taking 5 seconds it took around 20 to reach 100c.
  6. Pump is connected to cpu fan header and according to Corsair link is running fine at ~3100 rpm.
  7. Hey, First things first: CPU: Intel i5 8600k MB: Asrock Z370 Pro4 Cooler: Corsair H100i v2 PSU: Seasonic 620W M12II-620 Evolution Ever since I bought this computer some months back the cpu temps have been bugging me. I've tried looking for a solution by googling etc., but even though many people seem to have similar problems, I haven't found anything that works for me. Idling my temps hover around 40C, which to me sounds a little high but still acceptable. However, testing with prime95 or intelburntest temps hit 100 almost instantly. Here's a screenshot after 5 seconds in prime95: https://imgur.com/a/U9y0LiY I have made sure the cooler is attached tightly. I have applied new thermal paste ( Arctic silver 5 ). Fans are running fine. AIO pump is in working condition with one water pipe being a little warm. All my settings in bios are at default values, so mostly auto. Looking around forums people seem to be overclocking to 5.0Ghz "easily" with similar setups and here I am struggling with base speeds. Any and all advice are welcome. Thank you.
