HaZardousLP reacted to slifer in Platform Launch and MASSIVE GIVEAWAY
WAIT HOLD UP. WE DONT WANT LINUS'S PERSONAL PC. The case has a lot of meaning to him guys. It was a gift from his wife. I believe it was the first gift from her too.
EDIT: Thanks for all the likes guys! Hopefully Linus or someone from LMG will read this and this will make Linus keep his build. Even if the goal of 100k is made we should convince Linus to do another build maybe, with signatures from the whole LMG family and maybe even his wife. This would let Linus keep the build he has with the special case his wife gave him. Besides, his personal PC would be more special to him than us.

HaZardousLP got a reaction from Albatross in [Steam] Ubisoft Weekend Sale, up to 75% off
I bought it and I didn't even get a uplay/Steam key, it's direct download or torrent only I think from Humble Bundle

HaZardousLP got a reaction from Dabombinable in Update on Australia's Meta Data Harvesting Project
Don't get me wrong there are many, many problems with our government and economy but we do pretty well here in Australia

HaZardousLP reacted to PerfectTemplar in Update on Australia's Meta Data Harvesting Project
Australia has one of the highest gdp per capita in the world. Our economy is nearly as large as Britains with less than half the population. We have the second highest standard of living in the world and some of the lowest debt. I DO NOT SUPPORT METADATA. But saying we cant afford it is ignorant.

IMo that render looks ugly, if that's the final design....well, let's just say it shouldn't be the final design

HaZardousLP got a reaction from EChondo in Fixstars launches 3TB SSD!
Why isn't 3.5" SSDs a thing at all? I get portability and laptops and whatnot but if there were 3.5" SSDs for desktops and servers then capacity could easily be 3-4x what we could achieve now with no exponential cost increase on the manufacturer.

HaZardousLP got a reaction from Nup in Bioware developer promises new Mass Effect singleplayer “will be massive”
Urgh, I still don't see why there needs to be multiplayer... 2 weeks after launch no one plays it anymore.
However as long as it has a bigger single player than the games from the trilogy I should be okay with it.

HaZardousLP got a reaction from shujin in Project Ara module To Use SolidEnergy's Revolutionary Battery Technology In 2016
I find the best part of this is that you could either carry around say an extra 1x1 battery to give you an extra few hours in a pinch or you could fill up the back with enough batteries to last a few days. Can't wait for this.

I don't really understand this... HTC and Sony both struggle when they make great smartphones, but Samsung releases shit every year and dominates the android market

Instead of the US where speeds are typically fine how about a new market! Perth, Australia where I enjoy <4mbit/s down 1 up, with a city of a few million I'm sure there's plenty of prospective customers

HaZardousLP reacted to Imaginaerum in New Lithium Battery in the works to double cell phone battery life
Is this 'new and ground-breaking battery technology' news story number 15 or 65? I'm a little tired of hearing about it and not having it.
