  1. I do have the latest drivers. The problem corrected itself again last night, so I'll have to wait for it to pop back up again to try anything. I did read somewhere that it could have to do with a loose seating in the pci slot, so I guess I'll try that next time the problem happens. Thank you for the suggestions though!
  2. Hello, I keep having this problem pop up about every couple of months where my gpu will start running its fans at high speeds making it quite loud. Looking in Radeon settings it shows the current fan speed at 0, but on the chart it will have a spike reporting 3600+ rpm. Task manager shows that nothing is using the gpu, so I don't suspect malware. It will also go back to normal fan speeds after a while, but I'm not sure what causes it to do so. Any help would be much appreciated as I haven't found anything relevant with google searches. For anyone wondering my 480 is the Asus ROG Strix and I haven't done any overclocking to it. EDIT: I should add, even though radeon settings reports 0rpm the fans are still running at what sounds like max speed.
  3. Hey does anyone know what widget shows the date and weather that Linus is using at the top of his home screen?
  4. I personally use a combo of ESET NOD32 and Malwarebytes Pro as both are apparently a good suggestion. Malwarebytes has a free version, but NOD32 costs money.
  5. Something tells me this would belong better in the "Off Topic" section of the forums.
  6. SafeInCloud. I can use Google Drive to sync between devices, it can generate strong passwords, tell me when a password is weak, has finger-print unlock for my phone, allows me to categorize different logins, and has many more features.
  7. Like others have said, check around in schools. They usually have old computers running XP, vista, or 7 just collecting dust. Just recently before the year ended a teacher let me take his old computer for free since he couldn't get it working. Relatives are also a good source so check with them too.
  8. This is what people new to becoming a youtuber should learn because it takes time to grow a fanbase. Just play what you like and eventually you might find people who like it.
  9. Silver Elite, but that's because I rarely play comp (almost 400 hours with only 11 games of comp won).
  10. Is it surprising to anyone else that that game was running at 5K and 60Hz smoothly?

  12. I'm currently running a R9 270 so a 480 would be a pretty sweet upgrade and help me when I want to go multi-monitor.
