Hello. I am having issues with a custom built Linux PC. At first the computer was running the newest version of Linux Mint. The problems began with green lines on the screen. The computer was rebooted and showed the following error message:
BusyBox v1.18.5 (Ubuntu 1:1.18.5-1ubuntu4) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
(initramfs)
There seemed to be no way past this terminal screen and some research showed that there could be a partition of the operating system that was corrupted. The operating system was wiped and the newest version of Zorin OS was successfully put onto the system. However, when the machine was attempted to be rebooted, the prompt attached is shown. At this point, I believe it is a hardware issue, but I don't know where to start. There had been issues in the past with the computer not turning itself off when it was shutdown through the operating system. I was told that it was a RAM issue but since it's not my PC, I haven't been able to test. I don't know if this issue is connected. Any help would be appreciated.
