Those are the mainstream options. There are a few weird cars like the Volvo C30 (230hp 5cyl?) but it looks like someone backed it into a wall in the factory. Or The DS3 (Racing). Then there's the Suzuki Swift Sport with 140hp. Toyota does a hot version of the Yaris, called the Yaris GRMN, but that costs over 30000€.

Joke's on you. Here in Europe we get all of the good cars. Like Peugeots. Or the Fiat Multipla.

Find a parking space in a European city, get good gas mileage, keep the things I'm transporting dry when it rains, go round corners ...

Well with a truck you load it with whatever and go wherever you want. I use my truck to bring sheep to different places in the back and move stuff in the trailer etc. In a wagon this would just not work at all.

With a wagon its better for cruising around town, you can get into any carpark you want and better for the milage. I don't really like wagons so IDK, but I'm sure people like to race them or the look or something too.

Thats a ute though, not like in the trunk.

Ease of parking, milage, be lower on the ground. People will most likely look at crossovers as the new wagons and buy those instead. Not that any of those reasons matter wagons and trucks are just built to do different things.

Instead of being good cars by speed, traction or acceleration, Peugeot are surprising.

Unfortunately in my quest to carry everything at once, there is no more smoking in my car.

Good news! I finally replaced my boring Golf with something more exciting: An '02 Saab 9-5 Aero wagon. 2.3l, 4 cylinders and big old Turbo. Im blown away by it. The seats are incredibly comfortable and it makes 250hp. Unfortunately it's an automatic, but that fits the cars character quite well. Put some new snow tires on it today, so I'm ready for the ski season. It was kinda broken when I bought it, but a few sparkplugs and an ignition Cassette later, it runs like new.
