  1. I've been running a 25 foot HDMI cable to get games running on my PC to work with my TV. This would be the perfect way to have a small media box under my PC that will let me stream using Steam and hopefully play some games with it itself. I could build an emulator box with it. Ooooh.
  2. Never use my TV anymore. This might make it less of an eyesore getting dusty on my wall.
  3. Congratulations Linus. You've definitely been a contributing factor in the jump PC building and gaming has had in the past two years and are definitely the reason why I decided to build my first PC after leaving the PC gaming scene and running crappy laptops around 2004. I'm proud to say I was there since you started the channel on YouTube and while I haven't really contributed much to this website in particular I still think there is no better way to view your content than here. Thanks for being a symbol for the PC as a platform and thank you for inspiring me to do something I should have done decades ago.
  4. The fact that it has front facing speakers and is still waterproof(as much as it is). I have an HTC One M7 and quite frankly it's terrifying to use anywhere there is water.
  5. This has to be Jay's Video that I love the most: This one's one of many I love from TechQuickie:
  6. It's gotta be the 1440p screen(big surprise) but not because it will make the screen look better but because of the multitasking potential there. I'm glad to see that LG did multitasking well. This or its next iteration may just be my next phone. That's coming from a guy who's only ever bought HTC phones.
  7. In regards to the bloated prices of AMD cards recently I'm having a major issue. I dislike Nvidia, their business practices and massive push for proprietary hardware and software disgust me. However I am seriously considering them when I can find GTX 770s for almost half the cost of the R9 280x and get slightly better performance in most games. I love AMD(ATI). Their constant choosing to make a product that was comparable and always cheaper made me love them and because of crypto currency I've lost the opportunity and willingness to stay with AMD. I love their products and am crazy excited for Mantle but it's ridiculous that I'd have to pay almost twice as much for lower performance. AMD has lost their price to performance which was pretty much the only reason they were even staying relevant. I'm afraid for AMD and the gaming community in general. Crypto currency is going to die sooner or later and then no one will buy AMD cards anymore and Nvidia will take over. I know that no one wants that and now I'm not sure whether or not I should wait for the death of crypto currency which may or may not happen in the near future or ever. What should I do?
  8. I don't really know what I'd use these for, I have about 250 gigs of space left on my HDD and will probably not fill that for at least another 6 months and that's enough time for me to get a new drive. To be honest though all these people trying to one-up each other on how bad their configuration is is disgusting I wouldn't mind having a 4 TB drive though so I guess I'll give my reason for it. I'd like to start a YouTube channel and I am one of few people who has a desktop PC(that I know) and have no choice but to buy a drive out of pocket to get us started. I'm of course willing to but this would definitely help out.
  9. The CPU and RAM are and the GPU is more than enough for 1080p gaming.
