It wouldn't be a folding event without something awful happening in my life... 
 
I had a close friend reach out to me this morning to tell me her mother has passed away. I don't currently anticipate this causing any major upsets my availability will be reduced for the next few days or weeks. 
 
The hope is blog posts will continue as normal, @cbigfoothandles the data most of the time so in an event that I am not around he can ensure the stats are collected and validated. 
 
This friend unfortunately needs lots of support even without anything like this happening due to their mental health so I expect I will be staying with them for a couple nights as id usually the case when they need a caretaker so to speak. 
 
I will as always try my best to keep you all informed.

TIL many members of this forum are well versed in being horny.

So I walk into my room and hear this awful noise, it sounded like a fan has eaten a wire, it was getting louder and then quieter, and then louder and quieter... I'm silently crouching near my gaming PC... it's not that... Then I go to foldatron, it's not that... I think oh god it's the laptop! It's not that... there was only a bloody road sweeper outside and I had the window open

So, had a hardware casualty today, woke up to find all GPU systems idle and only CPUs slots with long timeframes still running.
 
My rack routers power supply died in the middle of the night of course while I was sleeping, not while I was AWAKE AND USING THE INTERNET like I am the majority of the time and could have swapped PSUs right away.
 
I imagine that's going to cost me some drops in rank.
