I had a lot of problems with my computer lately and a friend of mine managed to fix it by installing a pirate version of Windows 10 on a clean SSD. I think this could be the reason I have the pop up (maybe?), as I had the pop up from day 2 after the fresh Windows install. I can't find anything suspicious in the installed programs list. I'll check out the host files I'll post the result of it. Thank you for the fast reply!!

Hey, First of all, sorry if this is the wrong forum part. So I've had this pop up for a while which is insanely hard to remove and I've only found a partial quick fix. The pop up is "fastlauncher.xyz" which redirects to an online casino. My solution was download a chrome extension called Block site, where I manually set it to block "fastlauncher.xyz". I still get a pop up from Block site, which is less annoying. Anyway, what I've tried is the following: 1. Malwarebytes full scan 2. Kaspersky full scan 3. Avast full scan and Avast Browser Cleanup 4. CCleaner 5. Zemana AntiMalware 6. HitmanPro 7. Junkware Removal Tool 8. Resetting chrome settings None of these have worked, so I have no clue what to do and this is why I'm here. I hope someone knows how to solve this and remove the pop up. Thank you, Endre

Haha I'm not that bad with computers This computer is close to 5 years old now (in October), and I've upgraded the parts as I've seen fit. I've usually managed to solve all of my own computer problems by myself, but this time there's something else. I'll go to bed now and try fix the computer again tomorrow. Haha yeah but I brought my computer to a friend's house who knows a lot about computers and after many many hours he was like "I have no clue, your computer is retarded". My SSD doesn't work in his computer nor mine, but his SSD works in his and not mine for example.

I'll check it out tomorrow, as it's 11:30 PM here and I'm pissed off after waking up hungover to a computer not working and spending my whole day trying to fix it

Ugh... I have a 1TB HDD, but I got a lot of stuff on it. Can I install Windows to the HDD without losing anything on it?

So I found a USB I recently used to re-install Windows 10 on a family member's computer, and I used it in my own computer now. When I try to install Windows on the Samsung SSD I receive this error message (I'm translating it to English btw): "Windows cannot be installed on this drive. The chosen drive has a MBR partition table. On EFI systems Windows can only be installed on GPT drives." What does this mean?

As the title states, my PC doesn't want to load Windows from my Samsung SSD. All I get is a black screen with a weird narrow green flickering line along the top of the screen. What I've tried: Swapping the GTX1070 with a GTX 960 Booting from a different SSD that also has Windows on it. This results in a problem where it can't load Windows either (0xc000000f) Swapping the RAM with a different kit. Moving my original SSD into a different computer. This results in the same boot issue even though all the parts are different. Re-installing Windows on the Samsung SSD. None of my attempts seem to have made a difference, which is weird because the computer worked ~8 hours earlier. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

So I received some new pictures from the seller, and he claims these pictures are far more realistic but still a little too much BLB than it really is. What do you think about these? Also, would an PB278QR be worth 3000 NOK with this amount of BLB? I could potentially get it for a couple of 100 less as he hasn't received any offers on it except from me in 3 weeks. I'm intending to use it for watching videos/movies, editing in Photoshop (not very professionally, only making logos) and play games like Battlefield and Tomb Raider.

Yes I'm pretty sure it's made before 2015, but I'll get that confirmed by the seller. Also, didn't see your're Norwegian as well until now. Do you think Komplett.no would accept returns, repairs or getting a new monitor if the monitor in the picture still has it's 3 year warranty?

It is an ASUS PB278QR which I don't own but considered buying until I got this pic from the seller (I specifically asked for a backlight bleed pic). Now I am very sceptical of this monitor. The owner asks for 3000 NOK (360 USD / 280 GBP). However, I've found a ASUS PB278Q (older version than the monitor in the pic), and he asks for 2000 NOK (240 USD / 190 GBP). I think the ASUS PB278Q is the one I should go for, considering the backlight bleed of the QR?

As the title says, is this a lot or is it okay?

Hey, I've been looking at 1440p 27" monitors for a looong time now, and I'm currently comparing S27D850D and S27D850T. Can't find any total lag (latency) reports on these, but everything under 20ms I can accept. I'm NOT looking for Grey-to-grey performance, as that doesn't mean jack shit I would also really appreciate personal experiences with either of the monitors. Thanks!

The Dell S2716DG meets your criteria, and it looks fantastic in my opinion as well. ASUS ROG PG279Q with IPS panel could be an option compared to the PG278Q?

Anyone who knows more about the Crossover 27Q, the Acer K272HUL or the AOC monitor? Would love some opinions on them as well
