  1. Hey guys, so im getting a x399 Taichi board for 1950X TR. Is this ram ok https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3200c16q-64gtzsw ? Or this https://www.skroutz.gr/s/8855203/G-Skill-TridentZ-64GB-DDR4-3200MHz-F4-3200C14Q-64GTZ.html?from=favorites_popup ? Both do not appear in QVL. Im far from technical on this so i just need recommendations. Also tell me if this board is ok or if i should look other combos. I need this for 3d rendering so stability is no1 for me. I dont even know if the 3200 speeds will have advantages when rendering instead of gaming? Any tips/thoughts appreciated! thanks
  2. Anyone plz? u wanna see if rma or not thanks
  3. 2nd monitor disappears while im on dvi but, even on hdmi on the first screen i dont see dvi appearing as port. wtf 3rd pic, while the screen is there the dvi port is like nowhere lol
  4. they both are. What does that mean? The 2nd one is on hdmi btw. Should i try reconnect on dvi and see if both selected?
  5. Hi, i installed my new gigabyte 980 ti and i connected my 2 screens on dvi ports. Everything was fine, but the next day i power up my pc and the 2nd monitor was not there. No matter what i did, i couldnt get a signal from dvi-d. It doesnt even appear in nvidia panel. Is that a bug or the card is faulty ? I have my 2nd monitor on hdmi atm and everything runs fine, but idk if that would be a problem in the future or if i should instant rma the card. It looks like a driver issue or hardware? I ve already emailed gigabyte but no response 3 days now. thanks a lot guyz
  6. After a friends instructions I managed to drop the vcore at 1.288 @ 4.2 after i got blue screen at 1.250. Im running prime now for 3 hours, i think i ll leave it overnight and call it a day. Is there anything else i should take into consideration? thanks alot!
  7. Hi, i have this cpu 3 years now and i used to have bad temps at first. Then i changed the cooler to an h80i one and i just tried today again to overclock. Atm im running at 4.2 with everything on auto, just the multiplier set to 42 and the xmp profile on the ram. My cpuid says 1.328 core volt and my temps after 1 hour or so are around 65-67 (prime 95 stress test 1) in a room where i got around 19 celcious. I apologise im a complete noob with o/c and i wanted some opinions over this. I want system to be 100% stable cause i do lots of 3d rendering for days. Thoughts? Any help appreciated!
  8. My motherboard is a p9x79 deluxe. I think only in the 3d pci can fit two cards. Right now im using a 680 phantom and its huge, i coulndt fit something in the 2nd pci even if i wanted to lol. Really appreciate the replies guys!
  9. Hello, I am thinking to buy 2 of those http://www.guaranty.gr/product/1002097/gigabyte-geforce-gtx980-ti-6gb-gaming-oc-windforce.html for sli. I am doing 3d renderings actually so it doesnt necessarily have to be sli, its just like 2 cards on the same system. My question is since the one will be on top of each other, would it be a good solution to use those 2 or should i look for reference cards? this specific model is one of the coolest in 980 ti series from what i read. The temperature is the no1 of my priorities, idc about noise actually, i just want the coolest possible setup i can have with 2 x 980 ti cards (no watercooling cause it needs tones of modifiction for my case). Btw my case is a 650 obsidian with 200m front intake, 200m top exhaust, h80i on pp config on the back as intake. Thoughts? thanks guyz
  10. http://www.overclock.net/t/1236923/corsair-h100-h80-h60-noise-grinding-pump-fix-official-corsair-response Check this out, might has something to do with the voltage. When u say rattle how noticeable it is? Cause mine also at full speed fans does a squirl noise (idk how to describle it) but its like nothing u need to pay attention to hear it.
  11. Hey guyz, If u are having issues with Hxx installation, u can try a simple thing: I been using h80 1 year now and i had lots of issues for many reasons but all got fixed, when i decided that my fans should go str8 on the motherboard and not on the corsair. Just plug the Hxx with ur cpu fan pin connector and to psu and thats about it. U can control ur fans rpm with an external software or most likely with ur motherboard's software. *For those that own ASUS motherboard, AI fan Xpert works great like this (although is buggy in general, Fan xpert works with no bugs). If u are worried about the color too much, i have to say this: 1st noone will notice the colo of ur cooler lmao and 2nd u need to get ur computer running with no issues. Isnt that the thing we are all after anyways? I hope this was kinda helpful!
