If I am reading this correctly it's about starting a new game with people who are also newbies....If thats the case I prefer to play with experienced players who can help me out. I do like trying new games for the first time with online friends as a group also but we never go into a game not knowing anything...always have to do a little research first.

I dont think so...I think if you told them you really werent sure what you wanted or needed and tell them that at least they wouldnt have to wait in lines or go out looking for something or spend time online price shopping they may like it. As a father myself I already get my son giftcards....along with a toy or something, he is 9. but I want him to learn to budget, understand that he can get a lot of little something, maybe a couple of mid priced things or one really good thing. any speaker is pc compatible with an amp via usb or toslink which is what I am doing. Yamaha A-S701 with a minx 22 2.1 speaker set up. its a wicked good combo. some amps and speakers dont mix to well if you are that anal about sound. I am.

yeah, sometimes you need to pick and choose your fights wisely.

you really only have a few options. I a couple years back bought all of them! even some china ebay ones. best was IMO was the one coolermaster made but they dont make it anymore as far as I know. best one now is the Roccat one but you over pay because of the hub nonsense...just as a bungee only its great. the razer one has issues with thicker mouse cords and is a bit to narrow so unless I use my mice in an odd way it tends to have a big of wiggle to. Thermaletake has one that may be the best all around for the price but I find it to be ugly...speaking on a just functional basis the thermaltake one is top choice. With the smallest of man skills you can make one that would work better then anything you can buy...just saying.

it comes down to getting on your hands and knees and scrubbing shit. money is easy to earn...what isnt easy at times are the things you must do to earn that money.

dont feel nothing about it. that is one of the draw backs of going with multi card set ups...you know it's a risk.

In general I think they always say you need better hardware then you actually do....I can only assume they do this to make sure that when you play the game you have a good experience and dont end up on a forum bitching and moaning that the game runs like shit.

I use red for gaming and blue for typing/surfing. When I use to use only one keyboard as a do it all keyboard it was a brown which in my opinion is the best all in one switch.

I use a NAD 1050 dac...I honestly would be guessing if I told you what kind of sound to expect directly out of a mobo...it's just been so long since I have done that. Worst case...you just arent into the sound or think you need a better DAC or sound card to drive them well...you either do that or send the cans back. no harm no foul.

people love cheap shit that is good for the price but at the price point you are looking for headsets you dont need to consider the modmic...again, it's shit imo. I am a sennheiser fanboy and use senny headsets at home sometimes but now I mostly use them for lan parties as they are not as bulky yet still have good sound and a great mic. At home most of the time I now use the mmx300. it's mic is just as good as the sennheiser but the sound is more filling. Keep in mind it has bigger cans so by nature it should be more filling but the drivers are just great also. In my case both headsets have a place but to keep it simple and answer if it's worth the extra money for the beyer...yes, I have no doubt.
