  1. hd600 hd700, 380pro, dt990, dt800, dt1770 just to name a few. I had the 1050 when I first got the DT1770's and it was a beautiful combo. I prefer semi open or open cans but because of noise I had to go for closed. It powers anything and has a really beautiful clear tone. I kept it next to me on my desk since it's form is super friendly to be near you at all times. not big, slim and small footprint. The volume dial is very big so any time I needed a quick change I just reached over and adjusted. It never hit's end...its a dial that just goes around and around in any direction which was fine by me. Only reason I no longer use it is because I wanted to use passive speakers with my set up which is what I am doing now.
  2. it's both, it can drive anything.
  3. NAD 1050 is the best dac in that price range IMO.
  4. People dont like change. The intro is the least of my worries.
  5. this goes back years man...this guy has been around the block and back even before youtube.
  6. the guy is just old school...he has updated a lot of shit but his older vids you can tell he just was not up to date on a lot of things. Either way something about him rubs me the wrong way...I cant watch him.
  7. dreams are for kids who still live at home and dont yet know what dignity is. So, if you are a kid, keep dreaming, if you are an adult it's time to start earning a living so you dont have to be a scrub. Singing can always be a hobby you are passionate about if it does not impact your life in a shitty way.
  8. nothing really works...it's all a scam. at best you can get a filler if the scratches are deep but those side pannels are made of shit, no quality. Just replace it, scratches drive me nuts.
  9. I have a long history with Asus which is why I say RIP Asus...I did look at the asus adapter only because it was a big name who made it and with bluetooth adapters you get a lot of companies I am not to familar with making them which is why I gave asus one last ditch effort to work....nope, fail. The Iogear was rated well pretty much on every site I was looking at plus I was looking for something specific not just an audio only adapter which a lot are and it doesnt say. I got the drivers for the adapter right from the website and it worked fine. It didnt create a desktop shortcut so I did have to exe from the file after it unzipped. Aside from that it's all good. If I remember correctly the past few versions of windows use the same driver. Driver also comes in a mini disk in the box but you know...we get the newest shit online.
  10. I have sold things on amazon, I had no reviews and sold great shit at a cheap price. it's a risk however you can get the sellers word just by writting him and it's as good as a warranty. Amazon will deal with the issues as the middle man.
  11. I had issues with that same adapter. the bluetooth on my mobo was shit so I wanted to try something else...ended up returning it, to much of a headache. I have contacted asus suppoprt a dozen times over the years and half the time I feel like they didnt even read my question and just cut and pasted an answer based on a keyboard in my question. So done. Found one that worked for me. IOGEAR Bluetooth 4.0 USB (GBU521W6) I use it with a keyboard. RIP Asus.
  12. oh how you disapoint me...walk the streets and say that lol.
  13. off topic...you ready for Monday night?
  14. an amp can change the sound signature...
  15. that cpu wont bottle neck anything...when we talk about modern cpu's and bottle necking in most cases it's a few frames. people are paranoid about it.
  16. APC...I am not huge on brand loyalty as things do change but APC builds things well...not always the prettiest but they work.
  17. Sennheiser HD 380 Pro IMO will be about the best you can get as far as pure sound. I am sure you can get things that sound as good in a closed back but to find something better will be tough and take time. The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro also sound very good but IMO its a better headset for movies, gaming maybe. Pure sound would go with Sennheiser, movies, gaming and NOT music maybe the beyer's Just FYI maybe I have a big head but those 380's are tight like a mother at first...takes a while to get use to that clamp force...tight even for a studio monitor.
  18. I wanted to hate it but after playing it I got to say it's pretty fun and looks fantastic. the only thing that makes me hesitate on recomending it is the pricing....I dunno about that one.
  19. dont agree at all but that statement being so generalized I'll just leave it be. to each his own.
  20. depends on the card and depends on the dac/amp. its not that simple. people on this forum always recomend a dac that shall remain nameless and I think it's garbage. in the end it's going to be up to you to buy, try and return till you find what you think is right for you. that's really the only way to do it unless you live in an area where you cant order things online becuase it's so boondocks.
  21. I feel like they said this a few years ago.
  22. that's a fine mouse, i had one myself for a minute and liked it a lot...I go through mice like crazy always looking for the "god" mouse. aside from at best a tiny bit of input lag if you even notice any you dont have a lot of upgrade options because that is such a good mouse. Only real options are going to be the top tier corded mice and again that is even if you noticed any input lag. Since I am a mouse whore and have used just about every high end mouse you can find in the U.S. I will just pimp the one I use now and plan to keep till something new comes out to really try...Roccat Tyon. as of now it really is the end all mouse for me.
  23. I use to think that at first but then I got so good I was accused of hacking on a daily basis and never spent a penny. From just a pure fun aspect it's one of the best games I ever played.
  24. I dont drink soda, havent for many years so nope. I use to do it years ago for battlefield heroes. I still say that is the best battlefield game!
