  1. the back of ur case looks empty enough to fit two fans...and increase the fan speed to 40-50% they should be quiet enough
  2. u can try https://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=as_li_qf_sp_sr_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=hardwunbox-20&keywords=G.Skill FlareX&index=aps&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=xm2&linkId=a93c17663913e83b5cfc36c9a25ae019 or https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0134EW7G8?tag=gnviglinkanywhere-20 but what ever u do buy a 8x2 or 16x2 kit. x4 kit is a bit wonky in ryzen
  3. both ur radiator is pulling air into ur case,,,ur case components will get hot. you may add 1or 2 fan that brings fresh air into the case and reverse the fan positions of the radiators to see if things changes..but it will also will result in high negative pressure in the case so dust build up quickly. or still add 2 intakes and keep 1 radiator fans as is and reverse the other ones fan. gamer nexus have done some testing on fan mounting positions google it.. u have to do some trial and error testing to find the best temp
  4. there may be some bios incompatibility..if u want dual gpu 480 is so close in performance to 580 that taking that risk is not worth it. it may not be a good idea to do a sli 580 or 480 unless you get a great cheap deal for the card..right now if increasing performance is the goal selling the current 480 and buying a 1070 is the best u can do. crossfire/sli have too much issues to be a good recommendation.
  5. i think u have reached limit. the new 580 clocks to 1450-60mhz. so i think u have reached a very good oc for a 480. but if u want to push more u can aslong as its stable..increase by 5mhz and stress test. the thing is pushing the card too much may not be worth it...the performance increase is minimal, power efficiency flies out of the window, heat and noise level increase exponentially..the extra 20-30 mhz is not worth it.
  6. yes 1400 will be a good upgrade...but for a little more 1600 will be much better
  7. cooler, psu no, if its working no point...but maybe the case. thats an old style case..personally i dont like the look of that case and with a newer tempered glass case u can show off all the rgb goodies u bought. i prefer the nzxt kraken x62..best looking aio cooler on the market..performance is average
  8. i really like the clean look of s340 elite... Phanteks Enthoo evolv , mastercase pro 6, LIAN LI PC-Q37 etc all are good looking case.
  9. change the psu..and if u want to use a z270 buy a faster ram 3200mhz otherwise a b250. and buy the nzxt elite matte black its worth the extra.
  10. for gaming only..single best monitor. for productivity as many as u need. i need two..some people thinks three is not enough. i have seen forex or option traders have 6-8 monitor setup in both home and office. the bottom line is buy according to ur use case scenario.
  11. yup would be cool to see..lot of benchmarking though . there was about 20-30% ipc jump from gen 1 to gen 2. next revisions had a ipc bump of about 5-6% until skylake 6th gen. no ipc increase from 6th to 7th
  12. not recommend for an inexperienced builder ..will require a lot of experimenting, cutting, sawing, screwing and a looot of time ..u will probably fail that semester
  13. nope the score will vary with the graphics card used. u can use that method while doing gpu benchmarking not cpu. pure cpu workload like cinabench score can be used to grade a cpu based on performance per dollar but thats not a good representation of gaming scenario. theoretiacally a super power gpu setup like titan sli can be used to remove gpu bottleneck and benchmark the game on low resolution like 720p/1080p but it will still not be as accurate representation as seen on gpu performance per dollar because games vary widely on cpu usage..ie some games prefer clockspeed, some prefers no of cores, some prefer overall cpu horsepower or in some games an i3 doesnot even bottleneck a titan at 1080p as they require very little cpu power
  14. solid build..get atleast a 1x8 gb 2400mhz ddr4 kit. and as for the monitor u will get one at around 100 bucks u need to check ur local vendors..just make sure its an ips panel..tn panel sucks for ur line of work. and add an 120/240 gb ssd later when u have the money
  15. yes u will be able to download drivers from ur laptop manufacturers website. just google ur laptop model, go to the manufacturers website page for that model..u will find download driver links
