mockedarche got a reaction from Noe in RX 6700XT Lagging hard, stuttering and black screens
I had similar issues on my old pc when I built it. In My case it was the sata port on my mobo and changing the port I used fixed everything. Luckily since it's in the bios that simplifies things. It's either your mouse (depending on the way it's laggy), cpu, gpu, or maybe ram. I'd suggest firstly reseating the GPU aka take it out and put it back in being careful and observant that it is correctly in. If it still has issues try plugging the gpu into a different slot.
Edit it could also be the cable plugging into the monitor

mockedarche got a reaction from Tyler2P in Is it possible to charge my phone via Ethernet Cable??
PoE can deliver power but it also would probably fry your charge port instead. Different voltage and amp as its not ment to get power from that.

mockedarche got a reaction from Catsrules in Where would I start if I want to write a script to scrape/change a setting on a local device that hosts a webpage Like my home router or smart device?
Honestly python, I believe the library is called selenium. It runs a web browser and does automated tasks. It can login and press buttons as well.

mockedarche reacted to Middcore in Weird crash, a few minutes after startup
That's probably going to be a GPU failure.

THere are some cases that support 2 systems, but there normally huge cases, and getting 2 smaller towers or sff systems would uses less area.

What's interesting is that the EVO Select brand is an Amazon exclusive, IIRC, so somewhere in the supply chain would have to been compromised.

Good luck getting wifi and other such stuff working.
Honestly all you'll likely find is a wayyy more difficult and less-compatible Linux.

mockedarche reacted to kirashi in I was upgrading the new laptop i bought (ram and that stuff) and when i was closing it after testing it one of the rubber pads dissapeared
Those are just held on with adhesive tape, so as long as you haven't travelled far from the table where you took it apart during the upgrade you should be able to fine the rubber foot somwhere nearby.

That means Moonzy is probably right and its the monitor. Just look around the osd its unlikely to be something hard to find.

mockedarche got a reaction from Rooked in wifi for new pc issue
Depends if the wifi adapter works with windows without drivers. Would have to tell us what wifi adapter it is for us to even try and find out.
EDIT I have never had a wifi driver ment for pcs not work out of the box.

mockedarche got a reaction from BTGbullseye in Upgrading to 3000 series, CPU bottleneck issues?
If I was you I wouldn't even look at that stuff right now. It depends soo much on the game and a 6 core cpu clocked fairly well shouldn't have any issues. I have a r7 1700 undervolted and under clocked and I play at 144hz will pretty decent fps (above 120fps almost all the time) not to mention im under clocked so I would assume most issues you face are software. AKA wait until you have the card to then decide if its worth it for you (your fps won't be any lower now vs then it just might be higher/more consistent).

mockedarche reacted to BTGbullseye in Upgrading to 3000 series, CPU bottleneck issues?
3080 will probably get you to ~120FPS and the 3070 will probably average around 90FPS in next gen AAA titles. Your CPU will likely not be the bottleneck for either if running newer AAA titles.

Cool tech but IMO give me a 120hz/144hz 4k any day of the week.

Man..... Feels like 10th gen was just released but I guess when you use a r7 1700 its hard to stay up on updated news especially from a different brand. Hope they make a come back i'd love real competition as that's always good. Good write up btw!

mockedarche reacted to minibois in so now rtx2070 suffer stopped production, what could it mean?
I felt that.
A lot of people are already holding out for the new series of videocards. I don't suspect a lot of people will be looking to buy RTX 2000 series cards.
In the past you saw a rise of people buying the 'old'/'current' series of videocards, but that was mainly people looking to run SLI. That is not really a thing nowadays, so the only people buying those cards is people who don't want to wait
Not sure what you mean by this honestly.
I like trains.

mockedarche reacted to Mateyyy in Does the bios of AMD 5600XT already updated when I buy it?
Depends on the model. For example, the Sapphire Pulse and Powercolor Red Dragon 5600XTs come preflashed with the 14Gbps vBIOS.
If it's not then you'll need to manually flash it, though I'd first check either on Techpowerup or on the manufactuer's website whether the non-gimped vBIOS is actually available for download.
