From what i know Apple doesn't support any nvidia GPU's and they don't want to, i think it was considered to give nvidia support but was later abandoned.

I'd look at your local 2nd hand stuff. See if you could pick up an older gen i7. Then you could spend the extra money on a better GPU.

You could re-wire the USB cable to splice in an external USB Power Adapter
Could work, But it might be a bit dodgy.

    EDIT: clarity.

Personally I'd go with the above AMD build as you've got more GPU horsepower.

Not unless it is causing the diaphragm to warp/crease. It'll be fine. Still, maybe don't touch it.

Also, that Protocol. Are you just wanting UDP, could try setting it to TCP & UDP

Otherwise I'd suggest something like this. It makes much better use of the space and you can hide your keyboard & mouse away.

My mate had one with clears and it was great, when it worked. For some reason it just randomly stopped working sometimes. Very weird. I pulled it apart but was unable to fix it permanently. It may of just been his one, but i can confirm, great KB.

I did too, and i worked in tech support, screw customers on the phone and my co-workers.

I think what this guy is asking is if he can take advantage of his discrete GPU while his monitor is plugged in to the VGA port on his motherboard. In that case, the answer would be no. It's time for a new monitor. Or get some sort of adapter to allow you to plug the monitor directly into the GPU.

Go into your motherboard's BIOS and change your GPU settings to use both your iGPU and PCIe GPU.

Buy a refurbished Thinkpad x220. Make sure you get the one with the ips screen and the ssd. It got me through my software engineering degree and it's giving me no problems during my master's degree course. You can usually find them for 200$ or less.

One easy way is to just do a fresh install of Windows making sure that during the process you partition and format the drive.  That will nuke everything to be sure.
