  1. While most of you may have instantly reacted yes, my case is a little different. So the way I got my memory was I got (2x4GB) 8GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz, and then I got another kit of the exact same ram, only difference being the colour. And if I'm not wrong Linus said in a techquickie episode to not enable XMP if all the RAM didn't come in one kit. In fairness I have been running without XMP for over a year with no memory related issues and it is running at 2133Mhz.
  2. Red Dead Redemption was Red Dead 2.
  3. This performs nothing like Apex, believe me. I own both games as well.
  4. Are you running the Anniversary Update yet? Simple question but essential if you want to play FH3. Also if you want a stable 60 in that game I'd recommend using dynamic optimization if you have an older card like a 970 or 390.
  5. You can try to reinstall Windows 7 again, if that doesn't work than you're either going to have to get a new 7 key or stick with 'aids', even though you yourself managed to make aids worse by letting it auto restart, like my 'aids' never does that.
  6. Actually the 520 is much better and newer than the 5500. Although im getting the i5 6200U model. If the battery life is good then I'm seriously considering getting it. Yeah im not sure why the smart gesture is being weird, because it works fine on my current Asus laptop just fine. Yeah not sure i can help you, but thanks for telling me how good the battery life is.
  7. Are you sure you got the correct drivers for the appropriate OS? Like are you sure you downloaded the win10 version (if you run win10). My current giant Asus laptop works fine with the tracking. Also I'm thinking of getting a Zenbook UX305 as well, is the battery life good? Also the iGPU is an 520 yes? Because my local retailer said it had a 5500 (broadwell iGPU) despite the fact that the CPU is a 6th gen i5 and should have a skylake iGPU (520)
  8. I can't find it in the places i shop though and it doesnt ship to singapore either.
  9. I dont intend using for gaming at all, like i said i have my main rig to do that, i just need a laptop with a smaller form factor, an ssd, and great battery life.
  10. Its a good choice, however i dont need a discrete gpu (already have a 970 on my main desktop rig), and preferably a smaller form factor like 13 inches. I will keep that as an option though.
  11. Guys i need your help in choosing a new laptop for school. the laptop i want has to have an ssd, great battery life, and preferably a light form factor. My current laptop is very heavy and has bad battery life compared to some ultrabooks, and while it has a discrete gpu and an i7, i already have a desktop for gaming. So i need an ultrabook for school as it is very easy to carry and doesnt need to be plugged in as often, and my budget is US $700-800. My budget is quite low because of the taxes where i live. I was thinking of the Dell XPS 13, but then it costs 1,700 singapore dollars, which is way out of my budget.
  12. Yeah good choice, though it isnt like a normal update so you shouldnt be surprised when it happens.
  13. So far for me 1607 hasnt broken any programs yet, so if you do want to upgrade its most likely going to run the same as 1511.
  14. Im running the Anniversary update or Redstone 1 and chrome runs fine. Its those small annoying update for windows or security patches that can break chrome.
  15. I dont know, its been a while since i uninstalled that update. Either that patch never got installed again or it worked again.
