Thanks for the help. I'm pretty sure i updated bios and used other cables So I can rule that out

I tried using another flash drive and I did format the drive but still no dice. I tried again on an ssd but the computer does not read it for some reason

I have formatted. I have not tried with another installer I'll try it now

In the boot there is an option for built in efi shell if that helps but my hard drive shows up on port 0 instead of 1 as well

Sorry I can't find anything that says that lots of uefi no legacy stuff except about csm

Where can I see that?

I've tried installing it for the past 3 hours on a new build. I install the os and then it says it's restarting to finish updates but once it boots it goes into the install page again. I've tried taking the usb out once it restarts but it just asks me to insert boot media then I try to switch the boot device in the bios once it restarts but it just ignores the hard drive.

I run a r7 250 from msi and an a8-7600. I plan on waiting for the new cpu line up and the graphics card should I win it could help a college student like me to not be flat broke
