  1. It makes me feel sad that I have to configure everything manually
  2. Hello guys, I have using the trial unRAID and so far is just awesome however I cannot afford one right now so I'd have to go for another NAS OS. What OS do you suggest to me closly to unRAID untill I a license? I'd like something that at least supports SMB, VM, and if possible dockers. I have taken a look at FreeNAS, however FreeNAS 9 looks a bit weird and FreeNAS 10 has many cool functions however it's in BETA and I have found many bugs by myself, I wouldn't go 24/7 with that. I have tried Free4NAS and it's just too hard with bad GUI. Anything I can try?
  3. Sorry if I am not here to answer but I wanted to ask something in the mean time. Isn't RAID software too risky? I mean, in case of a failure? what is going to happen?
  4. The problem is that I haven't found any db docker
  5. Hello guys. I am using unRAID and I was about to install a gameserver panel that runs through apache so I manage it via it's own control panel. However I need MySQL to have to get it working. I've been looking for a quick answer but nothing. Any Suggestions?
  6. Have you tried to turn off and on your PC? ░░░░░░░░░ ░░░░▄▀▀▀▀▀█▀▄▄▄▄░░░░ ░░▄▀▒▓▒▓▓▒▓▒▒▓▒▓▀▄░░ ▄▀▒▒▓▒▓▒▒▓▒▓▒▓▓▒▒▓█░ █▓▒▓▒▓▒▓▓▓░░░░░░▓▓█░ █▓▓▓▓▓▒▓▒░░░░░░░░▓█░ ▓▓▓▓▓▒░░░░░░░░░░░░█░ ▓▓▓▓░░░░▄▄▄▄░░░▄█▄▀░ ░▀▄▓░░▒▀▓▓▒▒░░█▓▒▒░░ ▀▄░░░░░░░░░░░░▀▄▒▒█░ ░▀░▀░░░░░▒▒▀▄▄▒▀▒▒█░ ░░▀░░░░░░▒▄▄▒▄▄▄▒▒█░ ░░░▀▄▄▒▒░░░░▀▀▒▒▄▀░░ ░░░░░▀█▄▒▒░░░░▒▄▀░░░ ░░░░░░░░▀▀█▄▄▄▄▀
  7. I was wondering why my CX600 has 2x PCIE power connectors if it wasn't for gaming properly. We speak back in the days in 2012 when I bought it and since then I am sure there are much better PSUs than this, but let's face it my i3 4130 and GTX 760 is just enough for this PSU that I bought long time ago. However here the problem is that I have another cheap one that needed for a new build. (no I can't use this PSU in the new build since it's not mine ) . However I don't think that is better low Wattage rated golden rather than a higher wattage bronze which I think is just enough. Like 550Watt 80 gold rather than a 750 80 bronze at the same price When I bought the CX v2 the v3 did not even exist
  8. Well I know many good quality PSUs as well. That would be my new friend's PC. Personally I have a Corsair CX600 V2 for 4 years and never had problem with it. The max underload peak that I had is 300Watt. You just mentioned pretty much all the 80 gold certificate PSUs which are expensive af .I would like also to get a modular (no semi! ) because I want to save space, better airflow, and cables replacement. My PSU has a broken V12 rail to a wire which became black, I think it was about to burn, so I just have settled by myself and it is working just fine. Now from a €1000 budget PC I think I'd have to cut off some part like the CPU or maybe getting a SSD later on.
  9. Alright then. I don't even think it has 80 bronze certificate at least. I'll get a CX 600 for 50 bucks then
  10. As last replier mention it has about 6 years of life. As I look on the PSU the Product NO. is RS-500-PSAP-J3, it must be a cheap chinese PSU. It also says that the +3.3V & 5V & + 12V shall not go over 427.9W . So it is basically a 420Watt PSU. With a 6 years old PSU, and basically a 420Watt should I keep it?
  11. Hello guys. I was wondering if I can use my old 500Watt CoolerMaster PSU for: Intel Core i7 6700k (won't OC with this PSU at all) 16GB RAM ddr4 3000Mhz nVIDIA GTX 1070 Asus Strix 1 SSD 1 HDD I have done a theorical calculation and it's about 380Watt and reccomanded a 460Watt. Will it be safe to have the PSU cause I wouldn't affroad another PSU.
  12. Hi everyone. I have got a 1080p @ 60hz monitor and I did overclock it to its max. potentials but I have different results with different GPUs. When I had my AMD HD 6850 before it died I did overclock it at 72hz with success however after its death I have a GTX 760 and at 72hz I see weird pixel quality and I had to underclock it to 66hz otherwise the quality is pretty shitty. WIth AMD I used CRU and with nVIDIA I both tried to use CRU and nVIDIA panel without success. Does anyone can explain me why is this happening? This is the same panel and should work no matter what GPU I install with it.
  13. Hi. So I'll answer the questions in order you asked them. 1) There is not limit as long as the hopes are correctly configured. 2) When using a second router behind another router in the same subnet, that router has not to do NAT. I'll write you down how you could set it up: Modem -> Router (Could be Modem/Router if using ADSL) -> Router 1 has 192.168.1.1 as gateway and DHCP that assign from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.253 IPs which are more than enough for 10 - 15 PCs (even for Wi-Fi devices) -> Router 2 assign its gateway as 192.168.1.254 so it stays in the subnet to not mess too much with the network but it has not to do NAT (so simply disable any WAN port and disable DHCP so the Router 1 can give the same range IPs to the PCs connected to Router 2 or switch with its devices connected to Router 2). 3) No. Since the server has to run in the same subnet you just have to run the server on any of the computer (or if you have a separate server no matter) and allow the port you are hosting it to the firewall (no need to portforward on router) and it is going to work just fine.
  14. It might be the power supply. Try to run the CPU at stock speed and see if the system crashes again.
  15. I replaced already the thermal paste. The fan is running just fine and the capacitors look in a very good state...
  16. I live in Italy. However the prices a little higher and they should be
  17. Thank you! I don't know what I can afford for about 100 bucks. I wanted to see how GTX1060 performs and maybe upgrading in 3 - 4 months. Now I cannot stay that long without playing anything . I suppose I have to buy a lower budget GPU
  18. I am actually writting this from my iGPU. Everything works fine. When I said about reinstalling the drivers and I did a DDU uninstall then a clean installation without success. As I said above I am using the iGPU without problems. Thanks. Thank you for the reply. I switched the PCIE connector and slot, I changed the cable and the connector, I even went to my friend's house to try the GPU on his PC but when trying to install the drivers crashes as well.. At this point I just have a dead GPU? P.S I edited the first post with a video that shows what pretty much happens when installing the drivers or booting up the machine.
  19. Hello everyone I am new to the forum, however I have been following it for troubleshotting for a long time. A few days ago my AMD HD 6850 2GB version became to be weird. I used to OC it in the past with even slight voltage (from 1.150V to 1.165 which is significantly irrilevant). However since here in summer are about 25°C in my room I wanted to avoid to get the GPU too hot (it was at about 80°C underload and 75°C at stock speed), and I prefered to keep it at stock speeds. I kept it for a month and suddenly while playing GTA V I see that a little artifacts then the screen split in two opposite sides (the right went to left and viceversa), so I restarted the PC and everything went good for another 30 minuntes. So I quit GTA V and in the evening I play some CSGO which does not utilize the GPU at 100% all the time (most of time 75 - 80%) then happened the same thing. The next day happens the same thing but more often at the point that even YouTube that give the GPU 1 - 5% of usage make the artifcats on the screen. I tried to to completly uninstall the drivers and reinstall them, but without success. Everytime I try to install the drivers again I see blue screen or even black screen that freezes for a couple of seconds and make the PC restarting. Here are some things that show pretty much what I was talking about: DRIVER CRASH & RESTORES EVERY SECOND THEN THE SYSTEM CRASHES HERE IS A QUICK VIDEO ON WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH THE SYSTEM. I WAS LUCKY TO TAKE THE PICS ABOVE SINCE IT IS RARE THAT I CAN INSTALL DRIVERS THAT LEAST FOR A FEW SECONDS BEFORE EVERYTHING CRASHES.
