The PSU is crap, I would get something like the EVGA 500b. if you can afford it I would get a better CPU cooler like the be quiet dark rock 3 or dark rock 3 pro or upgrade your system with one of those at some point down the line. If you prefer you could get an AIO water cooler like the cooler master master liquid 240. You could also pick a better SSD like the Samsung 850 evo 250gb. Other than that your parts list is pretty good.

XMP overclock the memory, often creating instablility, so just turn XMP off.

I am currently planning the parts i will buy for my custom water cooled build inside of the corsair 570x. I have picked everything out however, i don't know if i can fit a EK 280mm radiator in the top with a 360mm radiator in the front without it conflicting with the other radiator, the rear fan and/or the motherboard VRMS. Does anyone have any experience with water cooling in the 570x? If so have you managed to get this to fit? on paper it fits, but obviously that doesn't account for fans and other specifics like that. If it doesnt fit then that is no problem and i will just get the 240mm

I would just turn off XMP for a quick fix or if you want to keep xmp on then just tone down the overclock a bit.

Corsair Link says something is 127 degrees?

He has a i7-4790k not an i9 7980XE I dont think its his VRMS that is unless he has them wrapped up in paper towels... Its more likely a misreading due to a broken sensor or a sensor thats not plugged in so its just giving a random value. -
That monitor has a 4ms response time, a monitor with similar specs and a 1ms response time would be better.

If you want to game at 4K, sacrificing frames, i would recommend this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-PG27AQ-Ultra-HD-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B0168W283K/ref=sr_1_90?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1511178014&sr=1-90&keywords=asus+monitor If you want a 4K curved ultra wide, i would recommend this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-Curved-PG348Q-3440x1440-monitor/dp/B01A9EN4YU/ref=sr_1_93?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1511178166&sr=1-93&keywords=asus+monitor However if you want higher frames at a lower resolution i would recommend this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ROG-SWIFT-PG278QR-WQHD-G-SYNC/dp/B01N4ENDXR/ref=sr_1_111?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1511178372&sr=1-111&keywords=asus+monitor

OK thanks, ill wait before I think about getting any. I think jay is making a video in 6 months also to show how it holds up. He will probably make one after a year also so hopefully all is good The only thing I think might be a problem is that apparently it darkens over time, so hopefully that doesn't mean anything bad. At least it doesn't leave any of that silver shit in your blocks like mayhems aurora or at least not as we know of yet.

I just noticed in your writing thing at the bottom (I don't know what to call it) that you only recommend EK-Cryofuel. I was wandering what you think about primochill vue. I have seen from JayzTwoCents that it actually cleans your waterblocks (not that primochill claim that because they don't) So I was wandering if you have any thoughts on that.

I normally just take the fans off then hoover it out. If its really that bad use compressed air, but dont use water-it will just make the dust stick together and clog the fins. Also i might rust your cooler, so just stick to vacuums and compressed air. EDIT: I even hoover off my motherboards sometimes and that's normally the best option for me. If you use compressed air, just make sure its actually spraying out air and not ice, like they sometimes do if they're too cold or just a bit shit.

Thanks. Since i've got a thread open, have you got any advice on bending the tubing? i would be buying PETG because of its more forgiving nature from what i've heard.
-
I agree with redwood. You should probably go with water cooling. I would recommend the NZXT kraken water cooler. I myself have a big tower air cooler and it does block the top PCIE slot so if you need to use that slot you should definitely get the AIO. Edit: My cooler is the Phanteks PHTC14PE which is similar in size to the Noctua d15.

I understand its up to preference, but ive never actually seen 10 or 12ml tubing in person. Im more of a first time builder when it comes to water cooling.
