  1. I have soft tubing. I have noticed no buildup or gunk at all. I don't replace liquid every 6 months I usually just wait a year. my first time every i waited 2 with no issues it just took a bit longer to clean. so hopefully i will be good with sticking to waiting about a year maybe alittle longer than a year and be fine. mayhems new coolant has been said to really be better about not breaking down as much or as quickly especially red specifically and also no more discoloration.
  2. the tubing looks fine to me i use mayhems red pastel coolant which is a newer version that has a lot less issues. and the tubbing is primoflex advanced lrt tubing clear. it will have been a year since i did a complete flush and new liquid and tubing in march. but as you said it is so hard to tell. I am no ocd like alot of people i want to have to drain it as little as i have to you know.
  3. i feel the same way mostly but i am curious how people tell if they got gunk buildup somewhere. i have had same rad, fittings, cpu block, reservoir, and pump since late 2014. gpu block just recently got like 2 months ago. but nothing has showed up yet at least not that i am aware of
  4. I usually have been doing once a year but i know this is a heated debate with being saying once a month, every 3 months, 6 months and so on. But I want an honest opinion of how often i should clean my loop. Which just means completely cleaning and flushing everything then replacing liquid and tubing if necessary. I am water cooling an i7 4770k at 4.4 ghz 1.221 volts with idle temps about high 30's 37-38c also with a 1080ti sitting around same temp. I am not sure exactly all the info needed to know how often it should be done so let me know what i forgot because I know I did. I just want to know if i can do about once a year or go beyond that. since everyone i ask has widely different answers.
  5. I have been trying to play knights of the old republic again but lat time a played i was at 1920x1080 and now I am at 3440x1440. Flawless Widescreen and changing the ini file helps but the game still isn't working correctly. It looks like it is just stretched to fit the screen which makes it distorted and parts hard to see or read. I am curious if anyone made a mod or unofficial patch/fix for the game to work at the resolution. Also for some reason the game is stuck in borderless windowed mode. Like its fullscreen but i can move my mouse to my other monitors and click off.
  6. I am leaning towards xbox now I just hope that there isn't a difference between a Xbox One S and the Original Xbox One only curious since I have a 4k tv
  7. I still would like to see if anyone who reads this thinks if the game might be fixed and I should hold on a bit longer or just go for the console version. I just really wanted to play this game on pc. Trying not to switch to console for this game unless I really have to.
  8. I have no clue I know people say it is and ubisoft says it's not true. There is no way to tell what it is till they finally crack it. I am not really quit sure what to do since I love playing on pc and want it on pc especially since I don't like playing on console unless I absolutely have to lols.
  9. I am curious to see what other people think of my situation here. I have been trying since the game came out to get it to work since it is maxing out my 4770k @ 4.4 ghz. Which is the only game that does so. I have talked with ubisoft support who try to bullshit and say the game shouldn't do that and gave me a bunch of fixes that didn't work. They then said we have forwarded this issue to the development team so they can hopefully release a patch that can fix it. Which I am assuming I should take that as give up it won't get fixed or buy a brand new top of the line cpu. Now my question is does anyone think it may actually be fixed and i should hold off because to me the game is unplayable it costantly hitches for a second because it is bottlenecking my 1080ti. I tried putting it on vsync but that still didn't help since the game bottlnecks my gpu if it goes above like 40 percent usage or should I just try to refund the game and buy it on my xbox one. Sadly I don't have a One X but I really wanna play the game.
  10. Already did still doing it. I can't even launch the game right now it keeps launching as a tiny window so i click on it and it goes full screen and then the screen goes black and it crashes
  11. I thought I figured out my issue but apparently not. I really wanna play this game. But can't due to massive hitching and freezing because my cpu is getting maxed out and bottlenecking my gpu any help would be great
  12. I was playing battlefront 2 today and it all of a sudden, after the new update is maxing out my cpu before the highest it goes, is like 74 percent. I have an i7 4770k. I was wondering if anyone else encounters this and if they got a fix since I really doubt contacting EA will do anything
  13. I would have to disagree considering this is the only game that I have at least encountered to get anywhere near maxing out my CPU. The game doesn't need a better cpu it needs to be fixed, maxing out a cpu that doesn't get maxed out only any other brand new AAA title to me is not okay. You shouldn't need a brand new best of the absolute best cpu to barely run a game.
  14. I do have a bamf cpu its an i7 4770k I know people with 2000 series cpu chips that are now just upgrading. a 4770k will be good for another year or 2. This is the only game I have that has had my cpu go above 65 percent and very few games go above 50. The game is just broken due to pointless drms. Also I don't see how its wrong to want to play on my pc over a console I spent way more money on it so I'm gonna prefer it if the game is available on it. But also as I said above if anyone has any recommendations for settings that would be really helpful.
  15. As I still wait for ubisoft to reply to me. Does anyone who plays the game have recommended settings to turn down especially ones that can help the cpu load. I haven't played an assassins creed on a console since assassins creed 3 so I would like to try a good amount to make it work before I decide if I need to return it and get it on xbox.
