  1. Sorry for asking what I think is a silly question - but am I right in thinking this runs better under Linux? Is there anything more to it compared to the Window's client? Do I just download the .DEB & install? I dual-boot Windows & Ubuntu, I happened to be in Windows when I decided to join so installed the F@H client there. It took less then a minute and it's up & running, but if it runs significantly better under Linux I'll switch over - although I'm not keen enough to spend a heap of time optimizing things.
  2. Me too, just jumped on board :-) Installed the program, set to Full, hit Start...
  3. Hello Mr Linus, Would you consider reviewing the AOC Q3279VWF8? It is a 31.5 inch Free-Sync,Flicker-free Gaming Monitor 2560 x 1440 LINK: http://www.aocmonitorap.com/au/product_display.php?id=5277
  4. Have there been any reviews on how loud the unit is under load? Work is due to buy me a new laptop and I'm tempted to say the Alienware 13 but I don't really like wearing headphones while gaming just to avoid fan noise.
  5. I'm in the market for something similar, a wireless KB + mouse combo for the casual gamer (i.e. not intended to play CSS on a 144Mhz monitor). I've found this online, what do you think?: http://kalibergaming.com/product/GKM602R/ I can't find any reviews on it, I don't think they're a major brand but I haven't found much else like it. Anyone had any experience with this brand, or these devices specifically? Thanks in advance
  6. I have pre-ordered mine Sapphire RX 480 8GB OC edition! Now the only game I'm playing is the waiting game hahaha I'm hoping Linus does a review on this card, if not this one specifically then as a group of after-market RX 480's would be good.
  7. Building a new ITX gaming rig right now in to a Raijintek Metis. Am planning to get an RX 480, potentially an AIB with a shorter PCB but I could fit (I believe) the reference model in the case
  8. Sorry if this has been answered. The reference cooler over-hangs the PCB quite a bit, and new AIB boards have large coolers. Will we see an AIB make soon where the cooler is the length of the PCB? I'm building an ITX gaming rig and really (really) want this card. The case recommends 170mm but it can unofficially support somewhere around 220mm (give or take). I'd say the PCB length of the 480 without the cooler would be perfect! Yet there must be a reason they're all putting on 250-300mm+ coolers?
