  1. Thanks for all the feedback. The general sense seems to be the build is overkill for my requirements, especially the SSD but also RAM and PSU. I found all your suggestions helpful and am reconsidering these aspects of the build. Thanks again.
  2. Mostly ARMA 3 hoping for average 60fps at 1080p 1 monitor also want to slightly future proof for newer games eg BF1 etc
  3. Hi, I am a novice PC build enthusiast from Australia who is looking at getting my first gaming rig. Due to my lack of experience I have decided to outsource the build to a custom PC manufacturer (Scorptec), based in Australia. My parts budget is $3600 but can stretch to $3800 if need be. I have already made a list of desired components and was just looking for some feedback before I finalize my purchase. The Rig Price AUD CPU: Intel i7 6700k $503 Motherboard: ASUS-Maximus VIII Gene $355 Graphics: NVIDIA-MSI-GTX 1070 Gaming X $779 Memory: ADATA 32GB (4x8) DDR4 (2400MHz) $195 SSD: Intel 800GB SSD 750 Series $895 HDD: Western Digital WD 1TB Blue $75 Case: Corsair Obsidian 350D $149 Power Supply: Corsair 750W RM750x Gold $199 Optical Drive: ASUS DRW-24D3ST $35 CPU Cooling: Corsair H105 Liquid CPU Cooler $160 Case Fans: Corsair Air Series SP120 Quiet Edition x5 $130 Fan Controller: Aerocool Touch-R $59 LED Strips: BitFenix Alchemy 2.0 Magnetic LED x2 $58 Total $3592
