  2. Do i try and install them with my other gpu and then switch them?
  3. When I restart it it just does the windows loading animation and then No Signal
  4. Please help, whenever I try to install drivers for my new RX 5700, when the update nearly finishes the display turns to black and stays that way. When I force restart the PC, once it gest past the bios prompt thingy is just turns black. I can access the bios and what not and if I ddu it using my old gpu it works, untill i try and install the drivers again. Please help
  5. yeah, i just typed it out of my head, you actually researched for a bit haha, but you also seem to have more knowledge in the field, so OP sould ho with your suggestion
  6. I like how we gave him two completely opposite advices hahaha
  7. I'd say, based on what you're planning on using it for, unles you really wanna overclock drop the cpu down to a 3600 (3600x is aprox 9% better) and get a be quiet! pure rock slim (unless you really like how the other one looks). G.SKILL Ripjaws V might be a better value imo but decide for yourself. The mobo I'd recommend the gaming plus max over the tomahawk max unless you really need usb 3.1 and dont want expansion cards. I'd get a Samsung SSD disk 970 Evo Plus 500GB M.2 based on some reviews regarding the intel one, stating how the chips aren't really in the interest of lasting a long time as one would say. I can't really recommend pirating windows nor am I suggesting you do so, but yeah
  8. I've been using it for aprox. 5 years now and it's been pretty solid...can't say that it'll be like that for you, but I haven't had any problems so far. I am upgrading it to a bitfenix whisper m 550w tho
  9. Thanks, I found a XFX 5700 for around 360€ and I'm probably gonna get it... Btw, I was thinking, seeing how I have everything apart from the GPU and the PSU, to hook up my old ones (RX 480 and thermaltake litepower 650w (shitty, I know, but it'll only be in for a week max)), and then when the new GPU comes to just ddu the old drivers and istall new ones.
  10. Too expensive, my RX 480 lasted for that long and could probably go for another few years...
  11. So I'm split between the RX 5700 and the RX 5600 XT. I bought a Ryzen 5 3600 and am planning to game kn 1080/60 for now, along other stuff like photo and video editing. I won't upgrade it for the next 5ish years at least, sp which one should I get?
  12. I'll probably get the 5700 because I'd still like to use it in about 5ish years time with playable fps (because of university)
  13. you think the price of the 5700 is gonna go down once 5600 comes out? I found a 5700 for 360€ and I'm probably gonna get it
  14. I found one for 240€ + a AAA game (here), would you recomend i spend a little extra on a 1660 super for 270€ (this one)?
  15. what about the rx 590 8gb? how much worse it is than say 1660s?
  16. the thing is that where im from, you can get the 1660s for 270€ and the 2060 for 360€ (lowest prices)
  17. i would, but i have to give it away..that's why im upgrading
  18. also I'll be rocking my rx 480 8gb till i buy the 1660s (im getting a new pc bc im giving away my old one btw)
  19. last question...is the 1660s worth it, considering the rest of my parts?
  20. so bottom line is wait for the 5600 release in hopes of price drop for other cards and get the 1660s?
