iPhynx's Achievements

  1. I can't unplug the fibre optic cable, not the ethernet one. The second image is the actual cable in the router.
  2. Last night I unplugged it and plugged it back in while my virgin media router was on. The internet still works but I can't move the router to a different room. That sucks. Anyone got a solution?
  3. I suggest a corsair h55. It's £50, easy to install and keeps my temps around room temp. It's a liquid cooler so no water refilling necessary. I highly recommend it for cpu cooling.
  4. Please do a furmark test on max settings. If temp goes over 90-100C then your gpu might be overheating. I highly doubt that BF4 is that heavy though.
  5. Cinebench not bad either but that renders a scene in openGL and that's not really heavy. Furmark simulates a REALLY GPU heavy game, kinda. Furmark is a stress test.
  6. For gpu, furmark is a good option. Idk about cpu though.
  7. Go into the GPU drivers. If it's OC'd, "reset to default". Run both gpu and cpu benchmarks and tell us the temps.
  8. I was actually joking about, but restarting it actually helps you? Wow. This is surprising.
  9. Thanks. I don't need dual GPUs, I have an msi 760gma-p34fx I got some nice stuff cheap from maplin, my corsair h55 cooler and blackwidow 2014
  10. And split it into multiple screens using 3rd party software? Like this:
  11. A simple idea, but holy crap, will it be epic. My suggestion is that Linus gather up all their hardware that they currently have in some kinda of store room (spare parts room? idk) and use it for a huge crypto-currency mining farm, you can use the GPU for bitcoin while you use the CPU for dogecoin. I can just imagine a beautiful white room with shelves upon shelves of running PCs... Though, the cable management would be a disaster Disastrous cable managment:
