  1. Hello so I’m getting a new rig soon, currently have a super old 1080p BenQ, done me wonders for like 10 years, only thing it’s only got DVI and VGA ports, now my new GPU only has DP and HDMI… I plan on getting a new monitor at somepoint thinking a 1440p 120hz+ to get more out of the 3080, but for now would a DVI to DP cable have a negative impact on the quality or not make the most of my 3080 or will it be fine till I get a new monitor? Sorry if this is a noobie question
  2. I will look into those thanks!
  3. Just a quick question about CPU fans, I have a i5 2500 right now with stock fans, my friend is giving me his old mobo and cpu a i5 4690k but without a fan, would the i5 stock fan fit it? or is that a silly question and I need to get a new one, if so what would you recommend for a cheaper budget cooling option for the 4690k? thanks!
  4. 1080p no problems apart from you know lowering settings on more demanding games 4 years does that haha

  6. That's what I have to do every time I want to use my pc but it's a pain

  9. So I have had this problem for a while my pc will not boot unless I hit the small reset button on the back of my pc which is for the cmos luckily I have that button or I would have to open it up every time! But I've tried a new battery, twice still the same if i do not hit that button then it will turn on keyboard and mouse won't be on and the monitor stays on standby I'm so lost if anyone has any suggestikns that would be awesome, I fear a new motherboard is what needs to happen thanks!
  10. So i have been having this problem for a while quite random just one day i reinstalled windows 10 and after that my PC will not boot if I just turn it on it will only boot after removing the battery from the mobo luckily I have a reset button that does the same thing on the interface panel at the back so I do not have to open it all up every time I wanna use my PC. I have tried replacing the battery twice to no avail made sure everything was properly connected but nothing I just have no idea whats wrong I'm assuming at this point I will need to replace my Mobo? but I don't really want to have to do that unless i need too. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as i'm stumped Thanks
