i would agree with the bios that isnt right what Hwmonitor is telling you 8 Volts is wayyy not enough to be doing what you have been doing :)

If hardware monitor is correct that 12V rail doesnt look right for starters did you get any driver crashes during this test? also as mentioned in one the above posts soemthing isnt quite right 8 volts is to low i will add i have had heaven benchmark cause driver crashes any way so you might want to try 3D mark vantage which i have now used in place of heaven.

lol yeah cash is always a problem i had just paid off my credit card........now its got a new psu on it......such is life i would say save up for the psu get ur sli and all should be well i have read alot of fourms that say a psu cant cause graphic problems however if its not getting enough power to it of course its going to cause problems the very last problem i had before mine died was exaclty what you discirbed i had around 4 graphic card driver crashes during a benchmark soon after that the psu just died everything was on stock speeds

might as well add my 2cents how long has this problem occurd for as i was haveing that issue for around 3 months then 2 days ago my PSU died n took out a hard drive with it i didnt check my voltages like you have but it sounds so like what mine was doing when i started questioning my rig if you can get ur hands on a spare PSU see if the problem goes away

Hello one and all I have solved half the problem long story short looks like it was a dead/dieing PSU my system underload while running games just shut down and went into a reboot loop then finally got the point all the lights and fans were on but nobody was home and lets just say my ICT confidence has been shatted i have replaced the PSU and all looks well apart from the fact i have lost total faith in my system :( From installing my new PSU one the hard drives smoked and died so googbye movie collection/music im going to guess hopefully caused by the last PSU but what im most worryed about and may just be me over worrying and being parniode my GPU which is a GTX 680 refrence card can run at 81-83 C playing the likes of far cry 3 at optimal settings really low demanding games such as surguon simulator that i used for a test reaches the 55C mark i think its fine but i really need some help form the community to put my mind at ease and also any idea to what happend to my setup this is the first time i have ever seen a system fail underload and go into a rebbot cycle then take out only a hard disk. also i was haveing some odd graphic card driver crashes for probally 3 months prior to this fail could the PSU have caused this as it appears to have now stopped Any helpfull comments to get back my confidence that the GPU is fine would be most greatfull :) I am useing a OCZ modstream 700Watt PSU my last PSU was 4 yrs old
