1. I'd actually love a curved version of something like LG's 34UM95 (21:9 3440x1440). It would be really nice for development work. I sit quite close to my monitor, so a curved screen would be much nicer for me ergonomically.
2. It's BenQ's BL3200PT. 32" 2560x1600 VA panel.
3. Saw the video of this on Youtube and was instantly pretty excited. I'm currently running a fairly ghetto server. G550/H61 base, Arc Mini case, 2x2TB and 2x3TB (Seagate) drives, so 5TB of actual space when you take into account backups. I've been wanting to jump up to a WD Red FlexRAID setup for a while because my media collection took even me by surprise and is expanding... quite quickly. I'm at the point where I'm having to burn and delete stuff on the server to make space, and to me, this is just not what a server should be. I want it to be a place where I don't even have to think "Do I have enough space for this?" and can just keep everything all in one place. Were I to win, I'd be running the drives in either a 1:1 backup (until I had the money for a third for RAID 5), or 3+1 RAID 5 if I got the four. Good luck to everyone. 4. In fairness, people have been yelling at Corsair for quite a while for this. I'll be picking up an MX Blue one myself, but my ideal keyboard would be a Blue K95 (purely for the aesthetics, would match the rest of my setup, etc.) though I'll settle for this for now. Isn't it odd that it's the only Blue keyboard with dedicated media keys? You'd think someone would have done this before.
5. SP Quiet Editions... Are not quiet. I've compared them to GTs, and, well... They just can't compare. They're generally quite a bit louder at the same speed, and tend to buzz quite a bit more. Gentle Typhoons are your best bet, backed up by this fan roundup done by SPCR: http://www.silentpcreview.com/Fan_Roundup_7
6. You could look at a QPad MK-80(or 85). These can be ordered from QPad with your choice of switch, and come in UK layout as well. The 80 has blue backlighting, and the 85, red. I'm typing on a Brown MK-80 at the moment, and it's solid. Build quality is excellent, etc. There's also Logitech's G710+ to consider.
7. I'd be interested in hearing your impressions of the G700(/s) when you get it. I'm pretty familiar with Logitech's software (I'm currently using a Performance MX myself, and before that an MX Revolution) I'm mainly interested in the size and shape. The two aforementioned mice are the most comfortable I've ever used, and I'm very used to the shape at this point.
8. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/ncase-m1-prototype-a-mini-itx-case http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1717132 Title says it all really, though it lacks detail. The M1 is a 12.6L case (half the volume of the Prodigy, without the handles) that can hold a comparable amount of hardware. CPU and GPU water loop, 240 rad, and SSDs galore. Linked above is the Indiegogo campaign page. It's now over, but it was only to fund the prototype case by Lian Li. There will be a second production unit campaign once the first unit has been tested and refined if necessary. I love this case, and I figure interested parties should be informed.
9. I've used a bunch of different fans. Zalman ZM-F3 (I think? Was years ago), Enermax Magmas, Akasa Apaches and Vipers, Noctua NF-P12s, F12s, SP120s... My fan of choice? Gentle Typhoons. (The only decent fan I haven't tried yet is Silverstone's AP121, but GTs are so much quieter than anything else I've used, I probably won't be bothered trying them any time soon.) With regards to what speed you should get, that's entirely subjective. Some people say 1000RPM fans are quiet. Personally I think they're nuts. I have 1150RPM GTs running at around 5V. I can't tell you the exact RPM because I don't honestly know. I can still hear them (there's three) but they're quiet enough that they fade into the background very well.
10. Suspend your drive(s). It is, by definition, the best way of silencing your drives, as you have as little of the drive in direct contact with the case as possible. Get some nylon chord (I used Stretch Magic because I couldn't find any) and mount your drive in a 5.25 bay so it looks like this:
11. Define XL, certainly. Best water cooling options of the lot, and in my opinion (though I realise that doesn't mean a whole to to anyone else) looks the nicest too.
12. I've seen this done before, and it can be done quite well, but there is a bit of work involved. I considered getting a Titan for a while, and I would have done what you're thinking of had I bought one (Let's face it the Titan's cooler is nicer than any waterblock, it's just also noisier) What can sometimes help is using a GPU block, and RAMsinks, vs. a full cover block. It usually means you don't even have to cut that much from the original cooler, as a lot of the outer screws are never used, so you can just put it back on without the GPU heatsink and it'll (almost) fit, requiring only small modifications.
13. I have a bunch of spare dirt-cheap fittings lying around. I use those to figure out where stuff will go, then when I've figured out the necessaries, I order the shiny fittings. (I generally air cool a rig for a few days first, just to make sure I didn't get any defective parts, so I can afford to wait). There's a bit more work involved because I used to have to pull the blocks off and chuck the stock coolers back on (still, not as much work as draining a loop, etc.) but now I just run off my server / laptop for a couple of days instead. It helps to have extra machines at your disposal, for everything.
14. I use an Auzentech Forte, which uses an X-Fi chip, and most of the same software as Creative's own cards, and I find it fantastic. Funny thing though: The control panel is actually much slower to open and use than when I was using an XtremeGamer sound card.
