So two or three days in using the sleeper as my primary PC and honestly... Outside of the games I play all the time (Beam.NG, Skylines II, CP2077, and Ghostwire Tokyo), I honestly haven't missed my normal PC for anything... Besides music. Dear god the onboard audio this board has might be some of the worst I've ever experienced on hardware manufactured in the last 15 years.
I've also realized that thermally, this thing actually isn't bad. CPU does 4.2GHz comfortably on a black copper-slug stock cooler, and the 970... Well it's not having a fun time. It'll just sit wherever the temp limit is set. Right now its at 78C which means 78% fan speed. And I think I know why: it's so fucking big that it essentially turns the GPU and PSU into their own compartment, completely cut off from ANY airflow the case fan might be bringing through the system.

So now that I've used my sleeper PC for a while, I'm shocked how well it's holding up while I blow its ass out installing everything. For having a 4GHz 6700K, GTX 970, and 32GB of 1866MHz C10 DDR3, it is shockingly comparable to my 4.6GHz 12600KF, RTX 2080, and 32GB of 3200C16 when I do my yearly Windows nuke.
Obviously in gaming it's not going to have fun, its a GTX 970 paired with a 1440p 170Hz monitor lol

Overclock the fuck out of that card, last time I had my 970 in a computer I got it up to 1520mhz in 3d mark. Bios modding is a must.
I think I'm essentially doing the same "undervolt" method as on my 2080. I am kind of at a premium for airflow, after all. No intakes, and my only exhausts are the PSU fan and a thermistor-controlled 92mm fan.
