I agree. Having the different naming schemes is going to lead to confusion since GTX and GT are historically prevalent. If the architecture jump really is as big as they claim, I think moving over to RTX/RT would have made more sense going forward. I wouldn't be surprised if we hear something like this on Monday.

I personally feel like the RTX cards should be their own thing, or at least have ray-tracing cards all the way down to the GT cards and then make RTX cards GTX again.
