I like to use Geizhals, as apparently, it even shows the lowest prices in not just Germany, but also(all?) of Europe... https://geizhals.de/?fs=aoc+24g2u The cheapest one I could find on there right now is about €172 on Amazon Germany. As for shipping, you might wanna consider other options/other sellers that are closer to you and sell you the monitor for less money, price and shipping combined, although you could probably get some amazing deals buying used...

    New HDD

Just look up what the location the games/applications are installed to, the copy them to somewhere on the harddrive and tell your apps to start the games/to be started from where you copied them to. Might not necessarily work with every game or app tho and could lead to you losing data...
  3. Here's one, hope noone's said it before: Better cooler = lower room temperature It's obviously not true, because the thermal energy is going to be transferred(with the exception being a cooling system that's not only superior in its cooling capacity but also transfers to somewhere else, kind of like what LTT did some years ago) to the room either way. I know it's pretty obvious, but it's probably just a general misconception, as people think: better cooler = cooler component = less heat = colder room Just mentioning it because I've seen/heard people say it before...
  4. Neither, but I can't really think of anything else that could've caused the crashes considering everything's fine when I don't boot off of it...
  5. So, I tried a coupla things. Not only did I pull off the heatsink which by the way was seated perfectly if I do say so myself(jk, it was mounted properly tho), and I accidentally pulled the CPU out with it and got the cooler stuck, which is probably how I bent some of the pins. After I-don't-know-how-long of carefully cleaning them up and bending them back, I installed the mainboard's drivers in order to eliminate some variables. When all of a sudden, the PC didn't wanna boot anymore(we're talking off of the new SSD I freshly installed windows onto just today), I "refreshed" it through Windows' repairing thingy and installed the drivers again, only for the machine to crash over and over. So I'm back on my old set of 2 HDDs and my SSD now and I haven't had a crash in about two hours - granted with only one of my two sticks of ram as I haven't really had the urge to put the other one back in just yet, although I expect it to work -, so especially given the SSD isn't on the mobo's compatibility list, I'm guessing that's what caused the errors and might return it if further testing proves this hypothesis right. Thanks for all of your thoughts, opinions, and advice! xqcL
  6. Right after submitting my last edit, it crashed again. Although this time, it BSODed and it said clock_watchdog_timeout, which from what I've read would support @Artherion's thesis of something being off about the CPU.
  7. So, I tried using my PC with just one stick of ram in different slots, but it doesn't really seem to do anything. Also, I've noticed quite some differences in the time it "takes" my pc to freeze. So I was just watching something for a good 10 minutes, although I think the pc's locked up sooner before... EDIT: The CPU cooler seems to be sat flush with the cpu...
  8. Will try using just one stick, especially given they're of different speeds and all of that. My PSU's a Xilence 630W 80+ Bronze: https://www.xilence.net/en/power-supplies/12 Have had it for three years and I don't really remember having any issues with it.
  9. I feel really dumb posting this, but I simply can't find a button that'd allow me to change the language, does anyone know where to find it?
  10. So I just put together my "new" PC consisting of a Ryzen 7 2700X on a Gigabyte AX370M-Gaming 3 with my old R9 380 Nitro 4GB and my old 16 gigs of RAM and it keeps freezing and can't seem to find the reason why... :(
  11. hey So basically, a friend and I are going to be doing a creative project for our astronomy project class, but we seem to have difficulty choosing a topic, so we'd like to ask you. We were planning on either making a documentation in VSauce's(Micheal's) style or building something(probably a model of sorts) and explaining how we built it, what works how and why, and making a seperate, short documentation about that. I know this is very vague, but so far, we've considered either building a giant solar system or making a Vsauce-style video about time travel. What do you think we should do? Thanks in advance! xqcL
  12. Interesting approach, I think I've thought about that before, but honestly, I think it's just personal preference. Even if there are achievements, you - as dumb as it may sound - are given the option to try to complete them, and although I can very much see how one can feel forced to try to complete them, you're not forced to. I just think they can feel rewarding in some way, although again: it really depends on the execution. Meaning killing that really difficult boss in a side quest you would've taken anyways without losing any hp might feel very rewarding, especially if not a lot of people have it. But again: you might feel forced to play differently than you normally would or feel annoyed by them.
  13. Thanks for the answers! xqcL Seems like I'll have to buy a $15 one because it's the only one I could find lol
  14. So, long story short, I bent my blackwidow's spacebar stabiliser and can't really bend it back(tried an endless amount of times, it just doesn't really work), meaning I need a new one. In order to get one, though, I'd need to know how the spacebar is; I tried measuring it using the keyboard's keycaps, but that seemed a little vague. So if anyone knew how wide its spacebar is, or even had somewhere(preferably in Europe due to shipping, taxes, pollution, etc) to get it from(was thinking of buying it from Amazon, but I guess I'll have to see), that'd be perfect. Oh, also, it looked to be almost exactly as wide as my Redragon Kumara's spacebar, so if anyone knew its size but not the blackwidow's spacebar's one, I'd probably also try that. Thanks in advance!
