  1. Current specs: Ryzen 5 1600 Gigabyte AB350M-HD3 1X 8Gb 2400Mhz Radeon 6570 7200rpm 500Gb hard drive
  2. I would like to get a better graphics card, and was looking at the Gainward gtx 980. Nvidia recommends a 500w psu, but the one I currently have is a 350w. What if I get a secondary psu that only powers the graphics card? Nvidia says that a gtx 980 needs two 6 pin connectors, while Gainward says that it needs a 6 pin + 8 pin connector. What if the psu doesn't come with those connectors? Can I get some adapters to get it to work?
  3. So, I was looking at some used graphics cards and I saw a GTX 780 for sale for like $25, but it has a Code 43. So my question is: should I get it? Is it easy to fix the problem or not. I did some googling and there seemed to be multiple ways of fixing the error. Is there a chance that the error is not fixable?
  4. Which GTX 950 should I get? I plan to play games, record/edit videos And from where should I get it?
  5. Why is it when a graphics card is sold under like 5 different companies and the cards are different? The cards look different and they also have different specs. To a person who isn't really into computer parts and building pc's, it is really confusing. How to know which one to get?
  6. So the problem is SOLVED!! HUGE, HUGE thank you to everyone who responded and helped
  7. I found out what the problem was. It wasn't the ISO's, it was the USB I was using!
  8. Where do I get them? I can't get them from Microsoft because when I enter the Product key it says that I need to contact the manufacturer because Windows was already installed on the laptop. I went on Toshiba's website, but wasn't able to get the ISO.
  9. I deleted all partitions and didn't create one, but that did not help. I was able to install Ubuntu.
  10. I removed all the partitions and created one, but it still says "An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data."
  11. I'm currently in the MiniTool Partition Wizard and I'm unsure what to do. As of right now I don't really care about deleting the files, I just want the laptop to work.
  12. I've tried to copy and paste the files and I've tried different programs, but nothing worked. I tried Rufus and the only thing that changed was that it now says "Press any key to boot from USB", but that's it. The Windows USB/DVD Download tool says that there's something wrong with the ISO or the USB.
  13. I got Windows7 ISO, I put it on the USB, but this happens:
  14. I got a new computer, so I copied all files I need from my Laptop to the new computer. After that I wanted to restore the laptop so it would be like new without any of my stuff on it. I started a system restore, and when it started restoring, I decided that it's probably better if I delete the files myself. I stopped the restore, but now Windows doesn't work it says that I have to insert the Windows disk which I don't have. What do I do?? It had a Windows 7
  15. I would like to have a gaming pc for like 300 usd. I can spend up to $340. The budget is for the computer itself not monitors, keyboards, speakers and stuff like that. It'll be my first pc build. I don't really know much about pc parts, but I have read all kinds of tutorials and briefly understand what parts are need and what does what. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/W8gn7h <-- those are the parts that I selected myself based on a gaming pc build I found online while trying to get better parts and deals. I plan on playing games and making/editing videos.
