The Load Balancing was done via hardware, not software. It is done by the TL-R470T+

The good thing is, replacing the Proxy with a VPN that supports UDP does solve the Steam problem. I used a VPN server that is connected directly to IIX and boom, the Steam download speed is now over 50MBps.

While it does add a few hops and latency, it is great enough as it is.

Thanks for the help! Since there is noone actually sells IcyDock here in my country and buying it from ebay or amazon would be a waste of shipping fee, and for the sake of a week or more waiting time, in the end I bought the Orico 9958U3. A good deal tho.

TenzoNakami got a reaction from kb5zue in Radiator Mounting Rotation
Hi guys, so I am currently in a project of upgrading my water cooling setup. From the basics that I learned, the Radiator's inside is something like this:

Correct me if I'm wrong. Right now, I am mounting the radiator on front of my case with the in and out port being placed on top. Eurgh, one of a hell to drain it. Now since I am upgrading my setup, is it any good if I rotate it, so both port will be on the bottom? I'm thinking about how much force the pump have to push in order to get through the radiator. By the way, my pump is EK's D5 Revo. Will it suffice? Having both ports on the bottom makes it easier for draining and maintenance, at least for me. What do you guys think? Tell me about your setup also (if you have front mounted rads)!

No promises @TenzoNakami but I am working really hard on getting a distribution deal in Japan right now

Also it sounds like your mic isnt getting enough phantom power voltage? USB ports, which will require a USB adapter, can output around 4.5v - 5v if you get the right one. Syba seems to be doing a decent job of keeping their quality mildly ok - that should really help your mic gain issue. Certain other products can also supply 12v phantom power, which will work as well.

Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions about what we can do to improve your ModMic volume issue Tenzo, I am happy to help out!

So for those who's saying they need some explanation, I do have most of the headphones so I'll try to explain it, but please take this with a grain of salt since everyone's ear is different and my opinions may be biased. And oh, since English isn't my mother language, please bear with my bad English.

I'll start from my favorite headphones, which is the DT990 PRO (250ohms version). It is clear and bright (no muddy bass here, bye basshead) and has the widest sound stage. This does make it easier to locate where the sound is coming from. Since there is not much of a bass (i love edm and dubstep) I don't really enjoy listening to EDM or Dubstep. Pop song on the other hand is just amazing. Just a quick note though, since they are open back playing on LANs or public space will definitely annoy people around you. And since I use the PRO version, you will need an extra amp in order to utilize this headphone to its maximum potential.

The DT770 PRO on the other hand is just a closed-back and smaller version of the DT990. It is not so clear and they have an awkward bass (they are muddy somehow but since all the DT series are fine tuned for treble-monitoring they are a bit awkward in my ear). It is pretty much the same as the DT990 with an exception that it is smaller and had a closed-back which make the sound stage narrower than the DT990 and therefore I do not recommend this if you need to hear things at a distance.

The HD558 was my first headphone but I dropped it right away after I discovered the DT990. For me, the HD558 was perfect, the tight bass when listening to Rock music, the good velour pads, the not so high and gentle treble but they are not as open as the DT990. Overall, it is quite a good choice if you are accustomed to in-ear headset.

The ATH-AD900X was awful. Atleast to my ear. They are so monotone, they are true monitoring headphones. They do have weak bass, they have uncontrolled trebles, their mid's are just fine, you name it. It has a wider sound-stage than the DT990 but since I am more of a music listener than monitors so yeah, I dropped it.

The K550's maybe my favorite headphone if DT990 never came out. Although they are closed-back their sound-stage is just as great (but no where nearly) the DT990. They are pretty airy for a closed-back. It does get a bit warm after a few hours of use for me though. The bass are fine, the high is controlled but the mid is amazing. They do not leave any single details in the vocals. I can hear pretty much every single kana without having to repeat the song.

I never used the SHP9500 personally, but the Philips Fidelio X2 is amazing. They are a masterpiece. Atleast the first few batch. And it is way more expensive than most of the headphones listed. Well, you got what you pay.

I couldn't speak for the rest of the headphones since I do not own them personally, and again, please take this with a grain of salt. I am sorry if anyone was offended by this writing as I could be biased since everyone's ear is different.

    More stuff:
I only have the ModMic 4 (this is the only mic i had from the list above) and I should say it is amazing. They have a good sound quality but still pretty weak in my opinion since I have to do +30dB boost in order for everyone online to hear me. It is not recommended if you are a soft-talker, but if you do shout from time-to-time then it is a great thing. I do not know about ModMic 5 on the other hand since I do not leave in the US and getting items from US to Japan is pretty hard due to taxes and regulations.

    Sorry for the late reply.
I hope you haven't bought that yet. I was pretty much enjoying it at first, and disappointed later. Let me tell you why.

I was intending to extend the loop just like you, but since I do have the Maximus IX Extreme, things just got worse. The pump itself can't handle the CPU + Mobo, it is already slow. Don't even try to add GPU. I used the bequiet! dark base pro 900 and was looking for a front mounted radiator and oh boy it is so hard to mount. You'll have to sacrifice either the 5.25" bay or your hdd mounting slots. At first I mounted the H320 on top and it leaked. I have to RMA my motherboard. Seems like the clamp isn't tightened enough.

It does has a good waterblock to begin with, but the radiator is just a big no for me, in the end I replaced the radiator with EK's rad + alphacool ddc laing pump. And their stock tubing gets real dirty. I have to replace the liquid and the tubing after 1 week from purchasing date. It's just a perspective from me. Please take a good care and do a bit more research before buying and or believing this opinion.

If I were you, I would take a look at the budget and get something better. Too bad I can't travel back time.

Get faster RAM if the cost isn't too far off. It'll help out in many games that require fast calculations.
Getting 16GB on two sticks is a good choice to start with if you have four slots.
The heatsinks are purely cosmetic as RAM only gives off 3W of heat.

That is, something that I totally forgot. It wasn't set up for such an expensive setup (was originally a bar-like table to take a rest and have some coffee, I also took the longest table legs which counts up to 160cm from the ground), and I just noticed that when the table flipped over. But still, not screwing the legs was a great mistake. And yeah, my most expensive lesson. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not a full time programmer, I also do web design and video rendering, so having the 1070 + good monitor will help me alot on the "design" part.

EDIT: I've also noticed that your setup is similar to mine, with you having the 25" version of the monitor. It really is fun doing Adobe AE Timeline with that monitor.

I do play some games in my free time, and sometimes doing livestream.
And I haven't tried the performance between 1060 and 1070 for Adobe's program.
And I don't want to bother with RX's series I think? Since there was once a hint that Adobe's program runs better with an nvidia cards.. Or it was just my thought.

I'll check out more decision before deciding which way I should go.

I've also been gambling with much used parts and most of them are still in healthy condition.
Like @Captain_WD said, I also discovered few parts that is failing in a months and few more in just a week. So buying used parts is totally gambling
