So my Jaybird X3s broke recently...after a little over a year of use...and just past the warranty period. And so I need a new pair. Working out without music is pretty miserable. I have 2 options: 1) get a good pair that'll last a while 2) get many relatively cheap pairs to last me around the same time I'm pretty brutal with my workout buds. I don't run or whatever, but I do sweat a lot when I lift heavy. And the X3s kind of have me skeptical of #1 due to my use case. I'm willing to spend a decent amount ($100-$200) if I can get a pair that'll last...if not, I'd rather take $30-$50 options. I've also been looking at this Bluetooth adapter for my HD 598s, but I dunno if it's a good idea to take them to the gym. The headphones don't need to be sweatproof or wireless, but it's a plus (especially if they're pricier). I'd like earbuds, but if there's a good over-ear or on-ear, I'll take it. I listen to just about every kind of music, so I'm not looking for bass-boosted cans.

I have the free version, and there are some problems in the rendered file that are not noticeable in the preview. 1) The subtitles cause the video to suddenly go from a 16:9 to 4:3 aspect ratio. 2) A part of the video has its audio muted. Thanks

I feel like this might be a dumb question, but are there any relatives or parents of friends who would be willing to care for you? Any adult you trust that is within reach (a neighbour? teacher?)? You might wanna repost in r/personalfinance or r/legaladvice for some better answers. As others have mentioned, your best course of action is probably to contact police or social services. If your Mom is mentally unstable, trying to confront her in any way wouldn't be the best idea.

I was looking to backup all of my pictures today, but it turns out that a bunch of pictures from my Droid Turbo (my old phone) disappeared. I still see them on Google Photos, since I have them backed up there, but I can't find them in the gallery and my file explorer of choice (Amaze) can't seem to find any, either (I tried looking in both the DCIM and Pictures folders as well as just telling it to display all images). There's definitely a chance that I deleted them, but I really don't remember doing anything of the sort. Is there any way this could have happened otherwise/any way to recover these photos? It's not a huge deal since I have them backed up on Google Photos, but I am using the free service so they're not the highest quality they can be.
