    Ubiquiti has a 10G switch that's $600 now. It has 4 10Gbps Base-T and 12 SFP+ 10G ports.

While it is 3x more expensive than the Asus switch it does have 14 more 10Gbps ports.

AMICLG got a reaction from stuck stock heatsink in 2 internet connections, 2 pcs, 3 routers weird setup, is there a chance?
Load balancing does not combine internet for double speed. I splits up the traffic to each WAN line. You can set it up so it exclusively sends a device to one line or the other.

This is the only way you're going to be able to have the two PCs on the same LAN while having to different WAN lines.

You can plug them directly into each other with a cross-over cable or manually assign static IPs on a dumb/smart switch as there's no DHCP.  Otherwise you need a layer 3 device with DHCP for auto config.

AMICLG got a reaction from TAHIRMIA in WiFi "Hacking" tool
While you can use any distro (don't use aircrack in windows) it's easier to just use Kali due to WiFite doing it better than any person new to this ever could.

Boot Kali Linux on a USB drive on a laptop or desktop and make sure you have a compatible wireless card.

You can use wifite if you don't want to learn how to use the aircrack-ng suite.

Not sure how cheap they are in HK (could be way out of budget there) but the Sennheiser IE60 are usually around $130-$150 (USD) while a bit more they are nicer.

And from my personal experience the IE60 are better than the SE215 and Momentum In-Ear. The IE60 West (not sure if there's a sound difference from the East versions) are my daily drivers and I love them.

People say the SE215 aren't that great for acoustic music but obviously that's subjective on how you like it to sound. But it's something to note.

Looks like a lot of complex angels and corners to make and likely quite a bit of hand assembly.

You have to remember they have to pay somebody to put it together. Then there's raw material cost + machining of them. And at the end still make money.

CaseLabs cost $170-$700+ (USD) and they don't even come assembled, nor are they made of 1/8 inch (3.175mm) aluminium .

AMICLG got a reaction from suchamoneypit in What type of LEDs do I need?
Are they SMD or through hole? 3mm or 5mm? Form factor is the bigger issue.

Dim white when powered on? There are frosted LEDs which are white when not powered.

LEDs that would go on that are all going to have the same power requirements. So your not going to get that much brighter unless remove the filters and put in clear red LEDs.

AMICLG got a reaction from suchamoneypit in What type of LEDs do I need?
Those are SMD so you have to be careful when soldering them. Just youtube how to solder SMD LED and you should find some good videos.

The LEDs the guide uses are 1206 form factor.

This was the closest one I could find to the specs he used in red.  http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Kingbright/APT3216SECK-J3-PRV/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMseGfSY3csMkTeYsK%2b3NnHe2sZ9S%2f%2b78ok%3d

Or if you keep the red filter and go for white LEDs then you can get these which are spec wise identical. http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Inolux-Harvatek/HT-150TW-5518/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMseGfSY3csMkfueAjHpt4BBrGR7huQFPPA%3d

Power is power. It does not have a revision like a system bus would. That's just them marketing that it's for PCI-E power.
