  1. Hmm possibly. I'll take the new GPU home with me and test it in a PC there to see if it actually works. If it does then it is just some sort of compatibility thing.
  2. Hi, I am helping my friend with his PC. Its not actually a PC its a Dell PowerEdge SC1430. So he was having some problems and we decided to put a new GPU in because there were loads of artifacts on the screen and it slowly started crashing more and more on higher resolutions. So the "new" GPU is a GT 740. With that GPU installed, the PC boots to the Dell logo and the bit where it tells you about the SATA ports and stuff you don't have plugged in. After that point, if you try to go into the BIOS, the screen just goes blank. Same with if you try to boot into an OS (From the hard drive or a USB). If you use the integrated graphics, it lets you into the BIOS and the old broken graphics card does too. Do you have any ideas as to why it would not be working. Thanks, Harry
  3. Hi, So I have a windows PC currently set-up with my Plex server and some other stuff as well as storage which is shared over the network to my main PC. I am running out of storage (all the SATA ports on the motherboard are taken) because I have lots of stuff for my plex server as well as other files for other stuff. I trying to find an affordable solution to replace the storage part of this PCs use. I would like it to be redundant because currently it isn't and I am kind of worried about losing some of the stuff I have. It would need to have at least 10TB of storage. Speed doesn't matter massively as I don't use it for anything that needs high speeds. OS doesn't matter really as long as it supports SMB. Thanks, Harry
  4. Okay so I would be fine cloning my 256GB drive to a 500GB drive?
  5. Would I still be able to boot my UEFI install with this method?
  6. Hi, I was wondering how to copy a UEFI install of Windows 10 to another drive. I have just got a new NVMe drive and I want to keep my windows install that is on my current SSD. Thanks

    10 Gigabit NIC

    Ok. Thanks for responding quickly.
  8. I am looking at getting 2 10 Gigabit NICs for my PC and my server for faster transfer between them. The NICs I was looking at are the HP 530FLR-SFP+. I was wondering if I could connect both SFP ports to each computer to allow 20 gigabit. Is this possible or am I just stupid? Thanks, 7idge
  9. The projector is so cool because it is short throw so you can set it up in small places
