  1. Vessel Username: Sh0w0ff0rce https://www.vessel.com/videos/MI7F0u2H8 https://www.vessel.com/videos/U645y22v- I've been watching LTT for 3 years if not more than that now and I remember when TITAN first launched so I thought I'd post the original TITAN video link.
  2. I can't remember how I found LTT but I do remember wanting to build a PC about 2 years ago and I knew nothing about computers back then. But everything I know now I learnt from your videos and I have followed you for a really long time and your videos are and always will be awesome. I remember the old intro where a cartoon Linus would saw his way out of a box, bring that back for a week of videos with remastered quality but keep the sounds the same, oh and don't stop making videos you guys are awesome. Could you review the new AMD chips when you can get your hands on them I think they will launch to the public in 2016

    ModMic Settings

Hi I recived my ModMic from Antlion Audio andit works fine just im having trouble adjusting it in Realtek Audio Manager then I use Audacity to test record my voice to hear how it sounds and the deault format setting is 16Bits, 44100Hz (CD QUALITY) and tbh that sounds like butt it sounds heavy dull and tinny but when I changed the format up to 16Bits, 96000Hz(STUDIO QUALITY) my voice was way more clearer and not blured out it was sharp but I had my dB set to 20.0dB for the microphone boost and the recording volume at 100 but the it picks up really loud background static for some reason im not an Audiophile so I don' know anything about this so I reduced the recording volume down the static was less loud but so was my voice I really need help with this because I don't want my Mic sounding like butt to someone on skype or Comms or something else, So I need help on configuring my ModMic's FORMAT, dB MIC BOOST (if I need it), and the RECORDING VOLUME oh also what about PLAYBACK VOLUME do I need to have that up? thanks
  4. hmm whats the OS win 7? I don't really have any other ideas just to I guess try a nee WD drive try a WD Green or maybe try a SSD but if neither is an option I have absolutely no idea what it could be it freezes on startup in about 5 mins doesn't it?
  5. Hi I havent acutally heard a problem like this before but I know the WD Purple drive is built for 24/7 Video Surveillance Systems so maybe your not supposed to install a OS on it just store video on it try a WD 1 or 2TB caviar green drive I have that and it works perfectly if the problem isnt with the rest of your system like the guy above said about you PSU being fine and stuff perhaps WD made the WD Purple drive in a specific way with different stuff from the rest of their drives like the GREENS BLUE BLACKS etc im not saying this is the cause im just suggesting maybe this insite on the WD Purple drive will help? that is if your using the Puple drive as your OS drive
  6. Hi I've had FAH client for ages but have forgotton how to use it so how do I be apart of Team Linus for FAH and please can you give me the nessacary info for it aswell thanks:)
  7. that would work execpt its now saying Name Error 'answer' is not deffined
  8. So im trying to learn Python and im using 2.7 becasue my Python videos use that and its working and so I am trying to write my second little program its a calculator which takes integer input from the user and chooses a function heres my shot at it and it works: num1 = input("Enter first number") input("Pick a function add, subtract, divide or multiply") num2 = input("Enter second number") so this ^ works it does what its supposed to takes the input but the function part isnt exactly there as I am struggling with that so I want to ask is there a way for example when the User inputs the function Add I want the code to recognise that the User has entered that function and carry it out as a normal calculator does, don't ask why I'm doing a calculator I just want to learn thanks guys
  9. Well I got some new memory chips and they were Kingston hyper x fury red 2x4 8Gb kit clocked @ 1866 but for some reason my PC wont accept it, my PC will blue error screen me and crash dump the memory and this is where i am confused because my A8 5600Ks memory controller can handle speeds of up to 1866Mhz and my mobo can handle 16Gb of memory clocked higher I think or at that speed but for reference here is my mobo MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 I really need some knowledge shed on my problem because it's strange because im pretty sure that my system can handle the speed 1866 and this is my second brand new kit as I got this problem once and ran windows memory diagnostics and it said there was a hardware problem and to contact the manufacturer so I send them back to the people who sold me the kit and they tested them and they said they were fine and so sent me a new kit because they had one in stock, I really do need help because this is annoying me now thanks for the help in advance
  10. Oh I don't think it will especially if it's just for gaming, check out Linus's video on it
  11. so In this Hyperx FURY RAM description it states "Get in the game with HyperX FURY. Even newbies get up to speed fast, since FURY automatically recognises its host platform and automatically overclocks to the highest frequency published – up to 1866MHz" here is the link if you need it: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/memory-pc/ddr3pc3-149001866mhz/hx318c10frk28.html so the part im confused about is the part where it says the speed of the RAM which is 1866Mhz but then in the description it says it automatically recognizes the host platform and automatically overclocks itself to the highest set frequency at 1866Mhz, so does this mean that you yourself cannot overclock it above 1866 because it does it automatically or.. is the stock speed 1866 and can you overclock it as normal? so confused here
  12. Right so my MOBO supports RAM speeds up to 2400Mhz however my A8 5600k APU only can work with maximum RAM speeds of 1866Mhz, and i am looking at buying a kit that runs at a stock speed of 2133Mhz so my real question here is that if i buy this RAM kit will I be able to underclock it so to speak to run at 1866Mhz to work with my APU? Oh heres the link to the RAM kit if you need it: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-070-AR Thanks in advance
  13. so i have my eyes on a kit of Avexir Ram and they are the two 4 Gb modules but their stock speed it 2133 and my APU can only use the maximum speed 1866 so if i were to buy this kit and throw it into my rig would they be used as 1866 modules? or not work at all
  14. hey guys I was wondering what would be better, Corsairs SP fans on a rad or an SP fan from Noctua (if they have SP fans)
