Corsair HD120 fans, with Corsair Hydro water cooling. Replace the case fans and radiator fans with the HD. Connect all to a COMMANDER PRO. Add Corsair lightnings (strip leds), corsair PSU and corsair Crystal series case.

Here you go, basically what I did with mine...

.. and I regret it a lot, but it looks great

The cost is insane on those fans (30€ per fan, it was 200€ in total when they were first avaiable in my country, for 6 fans). Initially they didn't even release the Commander, which now is another 60-90€, that lets you connect and change the effects. Then the strip leds, which keeps adding to the cost, and the fact that I wanted to stick with my EVGA PSU didn't really fit the corsair link thing..

I got really sick of all the RGB after a few months and put them to a fixed color, then turned them off completely. It's nice when you want to show it off and I'll keep doing it for office cases but for your main gaming rig? No way worth the cost.

I'd try to find a wraith max. It is one of the best looking air coolers around.
I'm quite reluctant to take my wraith spire off as well.

I'm shipping overseas. Though most likely I'll be getting the parts in 2 shipments.
May use older parts to get the build initially running. Will see how the wraith holds up before changing it for something better,
    Thanks

I've left the storage out of this build. Presumably like the gpu, there is storage that can be reused. If new storage is required, I would go with something like a 1TB Samsung 850 Evo.

The build is a black & white with RGB lighting. This allows for adjusting themes as whim dictates. The cpu cooler is a white AIO. There is an RGB version of the cooler, but it is hard to find and I think it would be a bit over the top. The case is a new release from Phanteks.

How far over $1000 will you go? Something like this? $1800 for a custom loop (including a GPU), and custom cables?
Or $1250 for a different case and motherboard, and just a Kraken CPU cooler?
