  1. i would still rather see a fix then just buy a new 1.
  2. yea i know but i'll need a card and waterblock and its a bit more then i wanna spend atm. so i would like to fix this issue xD
  3. yea i forgot to mention i have a custom looped watercooled build, my cpu, motherboard and gpu are in the loop. max temps for the gpu are never higher then 50-60degrees celsius
  4. hi all, i'm currently having an issue with my desktop that i cant wrap my brain around. i'll first detail my build. x570 motherboard 5900x cpu 32gig ram 2666mhz 1080ti 11gig 1200watt power supply i'll explain the problem as clear as i can, ive always gamed and had no problems with my 100hz 35inch widescreen and 2 24inch sidescreens. i replaced those sidescreens with another 34inch 144hz screen and use the 100hz now as sidescreen. right after i started expiriencing fps problems in games, my fps would be max 20fps. After hours of trouble shooting and even disconnecting each screen seperate aswel as setting the sidescreen to 50hz, turning of hdr and gsync off, i seem to have found the problem or a problem but i have no clue on how to fix this. on startup my hardware monitor says my gpu is hitting power limit without any load. i know utilization limit is normal when no heavy loads are needed but power limit instantly without load? and also sometimes seems to hit the reliable voltage limit. now the current "fix" i found to this is rebooting the desktop and as soon as i log into windows loadup a game and see if i have 60fps in the game menu and then i can play. if i see lower like 20fps max then its still not working. also when i lookup the section "clocks" on hwmonitor my graphic clock seems normal 1987mhz, my video clock aswel at 1683mhz but my memory clock is always stuck at 5508mhz it never goes up or down when the bug is active or when its not. i'm at a loss atm as to what is causing this and what todo, i thought my screens were the problem since it started right after the install of my new screen but even with my old 100hz plugged in alone it still does the power limit bug. help is much appreciated!!
  5. Thank you, was just about making sure. i woudnt have mind putting another pump in the loop or duel loop it but if i can do it with just the ddc then i think it would end up looking allot cleaner wich is what i'm trying to go for.
  6. ok dint know that but that dusnt answer my question if the ddc pump is gonna manage the entire loop or will i need to add another pump or maybe duel loop it.
  7. Hey all, Ive been a pc enthousiast for a while and i'm about to tackle my first custom waterloop in my "newly build" system. Recently ive upgraded my case to a ThermalTake View 71 and started collecting parts for my watercooling build. So far the parts i'm going for and/or already have are : - Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Formula ( it has ekwb block on it for the vram the cpu is still seperate ) - Asus GTX 1080ti ( wich already has a ekwb block on it and backplate ) - Corsair Vengeance RGB 32gb (4x8gb) 3200mhz - AMD 2700x ( currently possibly changing to a 3950x or a 5900x ) - Corsair m.2 970 pro 1tb x2 - Corsair ssd 2tb - Corsair hx1200 watt powersupply - Corsair Hydro X Series XH303i RGB custom watercooling kit ( for good reason explained below ) - Corsair Hydro X Series XR5 360mm radiators x2 ( 1 included in the kit and 1 bought seperate ) - Bykski Distroplate for the ThermalTake View 71 ( 360rad size ) - Phanteks D140 Distroplate ( small size replacing the rear exhaust fan ) - iFixit Pro Kit ( thanks LTT ) Now for cooling wise clearly i want to go custom loop since i already have acquired some or atleast most parts. I'm still awaiting the arrival of both distroplates and some minor stuff but ive already started to build most of what i have into the case. The issue that i am facing or atleast that i think i am facing is. The Bykski Distroplate has a mount on it for a pump and i'm quoting the manufacturer atm "compatible with various brands ddc pumps or bykski own". Corsair XH303i comes with a kind of reservoir wich has a ddc pump wich i have taken apart and normaly ( according to my calculations ) is gonna fit on the Bykski distroplate. Now all the components i have and want to watercool or better sayed have a loop on it are the cpu, vram, gpu, 2x 360rads, 1 big distroplate wich wil function as reservoir and pump, 1 small distroplate. The thing i'm worried about or am wondering is, is that ddc pump gonna manage it for that entire loop or will i need to add a second pump/reservoircombo to the loop? Thanks in advance for any help or advice on this matter. Greetings Chimmie ps : picture added is how the build currently looks ( i have a corsair h100i running on it atm and a gtx 1070 to test fit everything and ofc testing to see if everything works and what my layout is gonna be, preplanning tubes and bends and such ).
  8. as i'm not an expert or anything but coudn't this be motherboard related? since you have the problem on more harddrive's and the only similar i can tell is your motherboard
  9. problem solved by moving my wifi card into another slot....... guess mobo is dying
  10. well i never kinda needed to my 5ghz wifi has worked perfect for gameing and never ever had a problem like this, but yea a powerline adapter could maybe be a solution but i wanna know why this is happening and if it's fixable else why have wifi in the first place....
  11. ive tryed that aswel, i'm the only one in the area here that has 5ghz wifi and using channel 112, anything else in the area here is on 2.4ghz so it shoudnt interfere with my 5ghz network. and it's like it said it all worked perfect, just the last 2weeks its been spikeing like crazy my latency, i can't play any game anymore since i'm always at a disadvantage like this.
  12. hi community,i don't know if it's important but i will list my specs first before explaining my problem, amd fx8350 ( oc'd to 4.7ghz and watercooled )asrock 990fx fatality killergtx 960 4gbantex edge 750watt tp-link wifi card2x 8gb 1866mhz corsair vengeance1x hyperx savage 240gb for OS1x 1tb seagate hybrid driveso first of all, ive never expirienced realy much of lag in the past, but recently my ISP provided me with a new router cuz the old one was just dated. in the beginning my internet speeds and gameing was 3times better and faster on wifi 5ghz (i have to play wifi cuz the router is 2floors down ).now the last 2weeks i haven't been able to play any online game mmo or fps, my latency is constantly fluxuating from 16ms ingame to 600ms for no reason at all according to what i can see on my task manager. i did a ping of my gateway and got this : while there is litterly nothing running on my pc only cmd ( i checked in resource monitor network )ive been googleing crazy about this topic but not one topic i found could help me figure out why this is happening, the only thing i found and believe to be possible is that my wifi card is dying or overheating but tbh i don't know anymore. all i want is just to be able to game without problems like before.
  13. yea was looking at kingston again cuz it posts specs over 1gig read and write but the 1customer comment on that site shows he had problems even using it so cuz research is needed here
