  1. Noted. I am not too savvy when it comes to VPN's but I do understand what you are referring to. From some quick research I would need to bridge the two connections. With regards to the additional hardware/software for the USB component, would you know of any devices that could assist with this?
  2. Thanks for the response and noted. It's a DSLR camera connected by USB and low latency is not a requirement for my use. Not sure what you mean by share it as a network drive? Please note camera will be on different network to the computer.
  3. Hi guys, I've been searching for a solution for quite a while however have had no luck. Essentially what I am trying to accomplish is to be able to connect a USB device on a 4G modem and then control it from my computer at home as if it was connected directly. I have managed to found a link to this device: https://www.siig.com/usb-2-0-over-ip-1-port.html where I believe it enables the USB device to be given an IP etc to actually communicate with the USB device? I am trying to do exactly what 'USB network gate' does, however that software requires to be installed on both end (host/client), where I am trying to eliminate the host side and just connect from client. Happy to purchase hardware if need be.I have also found anywhereUSB however from reading into this it appears it's only for local networks? Your help would be much appreciated.
  4. He wouldn't say the same if he had the salary and funding that Linus has. I'm unaware of how much people work for him; I understand he has a business though. I'd assume that business makes far more money than what Linus media group does (8 members to feed...). Disappointed in Jay, way to generalize things and make complex things seem simple.
  5. I have turned up the volume and boost in windows, yes. This isn't a silly problem, it's a serious issue that all owners of this microphone have.
  6. Well not necessarily, they showed its trajectory and it's not even close to Australia ... Plus it said it has the power to wipe out a country, hopefully it just falls in some uninhibited part of Siberia... If it does actually happen... Doubt it though
  7. I recently acquired this microphone for free from JBHIFI because of a gift voucher. I plugged it in and God it is extremely quiet to the point where the sound form won't even show. I searched up a video on how to fix this issue and I downloaded a program called 'adjust levels program'. It helped... But not enough. Anyone know any useful software I could use to really boost this mic to be able to pick up my voice around a foot and a half away? Cheers

  9. Yeap, thanks for that mate, much appreciated!
  10. For the first build - is that CPU cooler decent for overclocking? (I assume not considering the price haha). I may incline my friend to spend an extra $50 to get a better CPU cooler so we can overclock it.
  11. My apologies, I should have stated that this is an Australian standard priced build haha these are very American based prices, e.g. that GFX card in Australia: $549.00
  12. Hey guys, I am building a $800-900 PC for my friend and was wondering if you could help me get some more value out of the money used. (AUSTRALIA) Going to need to reference to PCCASEGEAR for average Australian pricing. http://www.pccasegear.com/sc/HvBd I was actually thinking of getting the G3258 and just overclocking it with some average H cpu cooler but is it much different in value/performance from the current CPU chosen? He already has a 650W PSU from his uncle hence no PSU in the build log Thanks guys.
  13. Thanks for the help mate. I did try the USB devices earlier but not actually taking the thumbdrive too, however I got it to work anyways. As I went off to run my errands, I left the installation to continue and when I came back it said, "installation will continue once system restarts". It wouldn't do it for me I had to force shut down and when I started it up again it took me to the part where you configure your system account settings (success).
