  1. So I'll be setteling down for single R9 290. Will 360 45 and 240 45 be a "overkill" compared to just 2x 240 45?
  2. Yeah, I it would be thight and since you'd be over clocking it might not be enough. Same for me and I really don't feel like upgrading my case and psu just yet.
  3. Their website states that Midi supports only 240 + 240 and XL 360(slim) + 240. Also if I'd go with a case that can fit two hard drive for raid, but thanks. But guys would 360 60 and 240 60 be enough for the system?
  4. I just thought that the koolance shroud would make it cleaner since I don't really want to keep the define r4 at the expense of having to do ghetto mounting like that. And if 360 60 + 240 60 would be bare minium which cause should I upgrade to? anything up to 900d but I would prefer a mid-tower but I don't think there's one that would fit enough rads?
  5. Yeah I get that but 4cm in the front is plastic. And I meant this.http://koolance.com/3-x-120mm-fan-radiator-shroud-black The 3x140 one is 490cm while 3x120 is 419. Making something like that by myself would have been too big of a challenge.
  6. Finally found something that could make that possible, but I think wouldn't fit 420mm because the mount would just be too long. 360+240 60 should be enough, right? Any recomendations on the pump? http://themodzoo.com/forum/index.php?/topic/775-diy-case-mod-guide-280-radiator-in-fractal-design-r4/ They seem to fit it nicely but that's a one with the smaller end tanks?
  7. Going to be upgrading to R9 290 Crossfire and I'd really like to watercool the whole thing. I know Define R4 is not very good case for watercooling but I'm down to modding a bit and ditching the drive cage. Build: i7 3770K (Owned) P8Z77-V (Owned) 16GB TridentX 2400Mhz R9 290 Crossfire Xonar Essence STX (Owned) Samsung 840 EVO 500GB 3TB WD Green (Owned) Seasonic X-850 (Owned) Fractal Desing R4 (Owned) Will those rads be enough( I'v heard that 120mm/per block +120mm for oc head room would be fine.) and which pump/res should i use? Also can you recommend any rads? I'm open to any sugsestions! PS. I had a older post about this so didn't know if i should hava edited this just in that?
  8. Okay, thanks! Probably gonna start looking for a new case.
  9. So how thick would the rads be and would that be enough?
  10. So I'm looking at the R9 290 cards and they look damm nice, especially watercooled. So I'm obvioulsy thinking about watercooling but I don't know anything about water cooling. I had two GTX 580s and I think they were kinda loud. So if I'm going to be getting two gpus watercooling might be the way. So can I watercool 3770K and two R9 290s in Define R4 and is there any reason to wait for non-reference cards if I'm going to be watercooling them anyway? Current build: i7 3770K at 4,7GHz with NH-D14 2x8GB 1600MHz Kingstone Black (Going to be changed to 2400Mhz) Asus P8Z77-V 7970 (some club3d shit. voltage locked etc. Really disapointed!) 840 ssd (mounted in the back of the case) 2x3TB WD Green drives (going to be change to 3x3TB WD Red or add one 3Tb Green. Don't know if it'll make any difference in Raid 0) Seasonic X-850 Fractal Desing R4 PS. Runnning 1440p and I would love to OC them!
