  1. Interesting! I wasn't able to find this page, link? Maybe worth giving it a flash before returning.
  2. Yep, I'll just return it. Thanks all.
  3. Yes, I mean that when running benchmarks or games, the base clock will not go above 500Mhz or draw more than 60W of power no matter the load. The temperatures stay at ~45c even with a 10 minute stress test.
  4. It's a gigabyte Eagle with supposed base clock of 2400MHz and boost clock of ~2600 MHz. Can you rma a product that's second hand?
  5. Hi All, so I just bought a second hand rx 6700xt and I have 30 days to return if there's an issue. The issue its having is that by default the clock is locked at 500 MHz. I can get it to go higher with the Amd overclocking tool but anywhere above 2400 MHz it's unstable. I've looked at it in linux and the base clock is still 500 MHz so I don't think it's a driver issue. I've thought that maybe it's a bios issue but the bios utility from the gigabyte site can't detect the card. Windows and Linux both detect and identify the card fine. I've tried reinstalling windows and reinstalling the driver multiple times. Is there anything else I can try or should I just return the card?
  6. I've got a laptop that doesn't have a thunderbolt interface but does have an internal M.2 slot. I also have an eGPU (Razor Core X). I was wondering if anyone does adapters to go from the M.2 internal to an external thunderbolt 3 interface. When I google it I just get a bunch of thunderbolt 3 memory enclosures. In theory they're both PCIe x4 so I feel like that should work, but I realise that intel probably has some special chip to do the thunderbolt interface. Though why couldn't you just have that on an M.2 board? Any help/discussion is appreciated. Not sure if this is the right place so feel free to move if necessary.
  7. Hi guys, So does anyone know where the various streaming options are at the mo? My client is a pretty bad laptop and I plan on using a direct connect ethernet as opposed to wifi. Any tips on how to get it smoothest?
  8. I was really hoping someone would start a crew Name is: Vinchansoe
  9. Same, but those speakers are great. Also got a 19" samsung monitor from 2006 as a secondary. Still works pretty well.
  10. Just make sure you have all the equipment you need. Plus I hear those AMD chips run pretty hot so you might want an aftermarket cooler. Maybe if you go for a cheaper set of ram?
  11. I found the YouTube channel as a great help when building my first pc and the community on here has always been brilliant when I've been in a pickle. Thanks FYI, someone should pin the WAN show pod-cast thread if it hasn't already been done
  12. Oh right, brilliant do you have a link? or is it somewhere really obvious?
