  1. watching tech news on youtube is the only way I get my daily dose of updates in the tech world so i see no problems with that.. as for troubleshooting videos, that's what forums are for. dont need videos for that except when the issue at hand is difficult to explain just with words. but i do agree with you that the content needs to get mixed up a little more..more diy tech projects would be cool and video reviews are always helpful since you get a look at the product in question being used irl.. those are my two cents on the topic..
  2. OK so I know I'm going to sound like a major noob here, but I need to delete my retroarch configurations on my mac because I did a thing and now my joystick mappings are all messed up.. Some forums suggest deleting the retroarch.cfg file but after doing a finder search for it, nothing.. In case you're wondering, reinstalling the program itself does nothing. It just loads up with it's previous configurations.. I'm really hoping someone here has an idea of what to do..thanks guys
  3. I doubt there's a better way to do it..but maybe that's something a more seasoned user would be able to help you with
  4. I second that..I've got mine on a bootable usb and it works.. albeit not that great considering switching between systems is a bit of a hassle.. it's just something you're going to have to deal with!
  5. http://www.ncix.com/detail/fractal-design-core-1000-matx-54-81159.htm looks like it'll do the job lol..although I'm expecting a lot of backlash from the more experienced side of the community
  6. Well if his is the exact same as yours and it doesn't have the same picture quality that you're expecting.. the only thing I can suggest is to tweak the monitor's display controls..
  7. So I picked up this beauty (performance gamepad controller p103e) at the thrift store the other day thinking I was getting a steal for $1.99..without paying attention to the cable type (d'ohh!) I know the picture isn't very easy to see but it's an 9 pin connector and yes I've tried googling it but to no avail.. Anyone know what kind of cable it is? UPDATE: because I'm an idiot and didn't figure this out sooner I made this post..so consider this thread DELETED
  8. run malwarebytes on your mac to check for any virus
  9. seeing as how getting it replaced is the only viable option here do you have a plan as to how you're going to backup all your games? If they take up a lot of space on your hard drive I'd consider using something like Steam Mover to back them up to an external hard drive. I hear it's much faster than reinstalling and downloading which could take forever
