    If you're asking whether or not you'll be able to output from the STX through your onboard, then no.
    The STX II has it's own amp though, so it isn't a problem.

    i think there is a general missconception here
    The back Audio ports are powered BY the onboard AMP and the onboard DAC aswell.
    A Soundcard would REPLACE both of These onboard Chips (DAC + AMP)

    Usually you have to see what kind of fps and settings he wants to play at. CS Go will play at 200+ FPS and then there is battlefield which will run at 60FPS.
