I can agree with the above post I have the 558 and have used the 598 and the only difference is the fact the 598 have a wider soundstage which can fixed by removing a bit of foam on the 558s

they are noise cancelling which I personally don't like the sound or feeling that the noise canelling makes.

the kefs look very nice and get good review they are a bit expensive though . I'm in UK and they are £40 more.

what else offers great sound quality. I was looking at the akg 550s but can't stand the looking of them.
