  1. those numbers seem a little off.. probs cos it looks like you're on Win7 and therefore don't have any TRIM support. I would love to see how it handles start up times and normal every day usage for sure. Might be an awesome video that could make people want to buy the product more. So slack for nvme (or even m.2 pcie ssds) now that I've owned one. As highlighted by TechReport, there is an unremarkable difference between 'the fastest ssds' and 'the slowest ssds': http://techreport.com/review/28050/intel-750-series-solid-state-drive-reviewed/5 In some cases, the SM951 is actually significantly slower to complete an everyday task....
  2. To reference the GTX 960 round-up by Ryan Shrout at PCPer, The Asus variant would be a better option in terms of temperatures and noise output: (I am inferring noise output based on the typical relationship between GPU temperature and fan speed, since fan noise itself was not directly measured in the review)
  3. The split display feature looks very handy for browsing the web when skyping. Sign me up
  4. Linus, a few questions for you: - is the optical drive caddy removable? - is there enough room for a 180mm fan in the front (silverstone's AP fan comes to mind) - If a 180mm fan is indeed possible, will there be any issues chucking a 200mm rad in the front too? - how fat of a graphics card can it support? I'm thinking along the lines of a wider GTX 780 classified - in addition to the above question, how much room is there for a graphics card waterblock? (concerned about clearance for the barbs on a GTX 780 Classy waterblock). Sorry for all the questions haha, I think my build idea is pretty clear at this point though...
  5. 1. Righto so my current setup is a 512gb WD Black Cav (excess programs) + a 128gb Samsung Pro (OSS + main programs). My reasoning for this is because it was all I could afford. Being 1) A Uni Student, 2) who lives in Australia, and 3) Who blew his PC budget by over AU$1000 before even buying a graphics card, my hands were kind of... tied. Hopefully someday in the next few months (after I've bought a graphics card) I'll be able to get some more space for game footage storage and editing... 2. I don't have a FB anymore haha... I just setup a LinkedIn as I approach Uni graduation (RL is calling to me sigh) 3. I have a twitter but it's completely unused, so that's probably a bit cheap of me to throw a link to that. 4. Welp I think OC.net will give me a warning if I link this haha. Cheers to the LTT crew for this, Good luck to all!
