I was between a ryzen 5 1600 or an intel i5 8600k. and from the benchmarks and stuff I have seen the 8600k seems very appealing. Do you have any opinion on a build with that cpu?

1. Budget & Location Greece , 550 € 2. Aim Gaming , media consuption and coding. Specifically. Gaming : Rocket league , Diablo 3, WoW , league of legends , cs go , players uknown battlegrounds, battle field 1 , star wars batlefront 2 (please dont hate ) Media consumption : 1080 p quality , youtube,netflix. 3. Monitors I run 2 , 1080 p monitors but I only game on the primary one, second one is for efficiency when coding or when writing documents. 4. Peripherals No need for anything other than cpu/ram/mobo 5. Why are you upgrading? I am upgrading from an fx 8350 because , well because i think it is time to . Also the fact that my corsair 100i just broke (rip) means i cant keep that 5.2 ghz oc on it and the difference to stock speeds are huge . Also some info on the rest of the build I already have so you have a better idea for the suggestions : gpu : r9 390 , psu : Corsair CS Series 750W Modular 80 PLUS Gold , case : corsair c70 with 2 intake fans in the front and 3 exhaust fans (2 on top 1 in the back) , cpu cooling : hyper 212x

Yes it is. I put a slightly bigger rice grain. Been doing the same for years never had a problem (I should mention I didnt have any high tier paste with me at the time so I used the one included with the cooler.)

I have a big problem at the moment. For years I have been using Corsair's h100i to cool my fx8350 but 3 days ago the pump failed. I didnt have any big budget at the time so I dropped all overclock and bought a coolermaster 212X for my cpu until i gather some money and upgrade to ryzen. My temps though are extremely high. In a 23c room the idle temps are 55C and under gaming it reaches up in the 70s and once it even had a thermal shutdown. I am really worried about something being wrong with my cpu . Case: corsair c70 with 2 intake fans in the front and 1 exhausting in the back. I have oriented the cpu fan to blow in the same direction as the exhausting fan in the back since they are in pretty much the same line of airflow. Do any of you have any ideas why this could be happening? this is a picture while watching netflix : Thanks a lot in advance.

So any suggestions and if not which of the two should i choose? akg or ath?

and that is why i need a seperate cheap one aswell and i ask suggestions for it. Like i want to know which is the best of the 2 and also to suggest me a cheap basic microphone

i want sound and a very cheap microphone for skype and streaming. Between the 2 (ath and akg) you would go for the akg ?

I am between the akg k-240 studio version (http://www.akg.com/pro/p/k240studio) and the Audio technica ATH-M40x (http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/75b2f282c93a7651) The headphones will be used for music and gaming I dont know if there are any other considerable options in this price range but i will gladly take any suggestions Note 1 : I am from greece and due to capital controls prices are a bit higher and I cant order from outside of greece like amazon or ebay Note 2 : I also want a very cheap microphone that will be good enough for skype callls and maybe some streaming Thank you all in advance

The rig will be 90% gaming and 10% capturing ingame content for either montages or guides/strategies videos I do on my channel . Ye I know that the Hz refresh rates translates to the max fps a monitor can display (espcially with v-sync) . Since it fits the budget I will go with the X proccessor . Ye mouse is pretty nice (thought I didnt know this brand ) . I saw some videos (including the one from our one and only god Linus ) and i really liked it at least compared to the one I currently own (Drakonia black from Sharkoon which is a good value for money but not top) . I chose the ouroboros cause I really liked the looks of it plus its name means something really "Deep" in greek. It is the snake who eats its own tail to renew its skin . Also why simple 1600 mhz ram? I know that higher ram frequencies doesnt really show more performance in games but in other activities like rendering I think it matters more . For example I currently own the kingston Hyper-X Beast 16gb @ 1866 mhz and it would seem to me wierd to downgrade at least that aspect .
