I went out to a brand new music club that opened up near me and the bands were really bad. I only listen to radio when in the car. I already have pandora and the music it recommended to me is too same-ish. Any recommendations? Where should I look then? Btw I dont go to punk and/or anarchist shows. Punk is dead and the conditions of the squat disgust me. Too many drug addicts and molesters. I understand how you feel. I feel like culture has stagnated. And has been stagnant for at least the past 10 years. Nothing feels new anymore. There's no creativity in the media I consume. All music sounds very similar and generic.There's nothing new or innovative being done anymore. All I have to look forward to are remakes, rehashes and re-releases of already existing games, movies, songs, etc. But especially music. Nobody is making anything listenable. Mumble rap infuriates me. I live in new york and the two hip hop stations play shitty mumble rap most of the day. The main pop station Z100 is relying on more and more 'classics' to fill out the air time, but some of those songs are barely a couple of years old. And when a hot new song comes along, the radio stations saturate it so much it becomes outdated within a month. I love going out to music clubs and listening to live music, but sadly it all sucks. It's so bad. Almost all the bands have zero talent and/or are tribute bands without an ounce of creativity in them. I swear sometimes I can predict the lyrics and chords before they are even played. And on youtube stagnation and blandness are the most visible. Pretty much all the youtubers that I used to love, have either stopped making videos altogether, or have gone in a completely different and boring direction, or are making the same bland cookie cutter shit that everyone else does. *cough* fortnite *cough* I cant be the only one that's noticed this?

I thought so too but I made sure to update everything. I tried using a screen recording software but it doesn't seem to catch the microstuttering. The stutter is most visible when resizing windows and launching apps like I.E. through the task bar. My i5 seems to handle it more smoothly, especially on win 7.

Yeah I know, I bought them in bulk during a clearance sale. Running both systems on 320s was the most fair comparison I could do.

It's not ipc it's the responsiveness. I installed windows 7 and 10 on brand new drives with the minimum amount of software needed. I did the benchmark tests and every single one ryzen is on top. But windows just lags with ryzen. Opening and closing windows is slow and I experience lag and stuttering when moving windows around. It's not as pronounced on 7 as with 10 but still noticeable.

Define full potential? Mining? Too slow. Productivity/Creative work? I dont do that at all. Both systems are running off of identical intel 320 ssds. I kind of have buyer's remorse, I wanted the newest, shiniest thing and I have no need for it. Cant return it or sell it either.

I kind of regret buying my brand new ryzen system. I barely game anymore and my i5-2400 is just fine for everyday use. I thought about converting my ryzen system into a mining rig but the hashrate is too low. Edit: Dont get me wrong ryzen is a great chip but honestly there are no good games out that require such a high core count chip. The newest games dont entertain me and all I play now is cs:go and that runs fine on a toaster. I haven't found one app that needs that many cores. Not even windows 7 maxes more than 4 cores/8 threads at a time. But I do find ryzen is still sluggish in windows desktop usage. For some reason my old i5 is way snappier in both win 7 and 10. I even disabled turbo and locked the speed to 3.1ghz and the i5 is still better.

Ok so I was able to successfully install windows 7 on my ryzen system through the use of dvd drives and ps/2 keyboards but I cant it the same way for my m.2 ssd, nor can I clone my install to my m.2 ssd. What software should I use?

Just say it was a replacement motherboard. They have to honor it. In some jurisdictions; only the case counts as the computer and not the hardware inside it.

I hope so. I have eight rigs and they're barely breaking even. I turn them off in the daytime to save energy and gpu health.
